On May 9, MESCON 2026 officially began with a vibrant opening ceremony that welcomed delegates, participants, and aspiring engineers from different universities, setting the tone for a celebration filled with excitement and unity. The day also featured the start of various sporting events, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, and esports, showcasing intense competition, teamwork, and school pride across all participating universities. The Calculator Technique Seminar was also held, providing valuable learning experiences and strengthening the technical skills of future engineers.

On May 10, the sports competitions continued alongside chess and sumobots events, further highlighting strategy, intelligence, and innovation among participants. The ME Talino Quiz Bee challenged the knowledge and critical thinking of aspiring engineers, while the much-awaited Mr. & Ms. PSIM 2026 officially began, featuring candidates who impressed with confidence, elegance, and personality throughout the stage.
