Today, I delivered the insurance proceeds for one of my clients I met last year.

He was a beautiful soul, a lad in his early twenties but with wisdom beyond years.

He had everything planned out:
an IT career he's very passionate about, a homebody lifestyle,
a financial plan to help him achieve financial goals faster,
and to address his risks,
including the possibilty of getting critically ill when he gets old.

But as fate would have it,

3yrs ago noon ako ay magsimula maging SunLife Advisor, isa sa naging kliyente ko ang aking g**o ng high school sa Jose Rizal University. kahit busy sa pagtuturo at may Ibat-ibang meeting at seminar, ako’y nagpapasalamat at naniwala at nagbigay ng sandaling oras para makinig sa akin. Ako ay nahihiya pa noong bago pa lamang ako sa pagiging Advisor ko sa SunLife pero lakas loob padin ako nagpresent at nagshare ng adhikain ni SunLife. Ito ang naging sagot ng aking g**o sa akin.
it’s ok para San pa at naging teacher mo ko. If you will be doing that for a living, dapat masanay ka, you need to convince me and your soon to be clients. Just be prepared lang with FAQs, kayang kaya mo yan. keep it up, Naniniwala ako sayo.
Masaya natapos ang aming paguusap naconvince ko Ito at kumuha Ito sakin ng dalwang plan.
I received a phone call para ipaalam sakin na kailangan dalahin ang aking g**o sa hospital sa Mandaluyong City. Dahil sa walang gana kumaen, nahihirapan huminga at naninilaw ang kanyang balat, he was in a critical condition. Day after, natanong ko Ano po sakit niyo Sir? Sagot ng aking g**o, Ooperahan ako sa stomach hindi maidentify kasi need buksan yung tiyan ko para makita sa CT scan kasi Di nila makita kung Anong problema. The operation alone costs a lot of money. Never nga talaga tayo magiging ready sa mga ganitong pangyayari.

Few days after I received a message from my teacher saying that he’s going to die soon dahil Hindi na daw niya kaya at hirap na hirap na siya. Nagabiso siya saken na asikasuhin ko ang SunLife niya for he’s family that he will left behind.
Mabuti ang Panginoon the death claim was already approved.

Nakakalungkot na bata pa niya nwala, Life is to short. You will never know when is your time. Masaya ako na may maiiwanan siya sa kanyang ina na teacher din at dalawang kapatid.

Mayroon siyang SunLife policy (VUL/ SunMaxilink prime 350k FaceAmount
(P 700,000 death benefit) - Php 5,420 Quarterly every 3months).
He has also (SunLife Assure policy 500k Face Amount - Php 1,193 Quarterly).

Dito sa Dalawang policy niya ay nakatanggap ang kanyang beneficiaries to start all over again.

The lessons that we learned that we want to share to you are:
1. Make sure may enough funds para as mga SAD events. Hindi natin Alam kung kailan to mangyayari.
2.Dapat May sapat tayong Health coverage. Always update your Health Coverage.
3.kung Hindi mo kayang maglaan ng maliit na amount para sa insurance, mas mahihirapan kang iprovide ang finances when SAD events attack.
