#モンステラマンデー #デリシオサとボルシギアナについて 　１８６２年　　Ｍonstera borsigianaとして独立 　１９０２年　　Ｍonstera deliciosa var. borsigiana と格下げ 　１９５１年　　borsigianaはdeliciosaのシノニムとされる 　１９７７年　　deliciosaの変種はすべて　deliciosaとされ（キュー植物園の見 解）　borsigianaという名は死語？とされシノニム扱いされている。 結局のところ deliciosa　大型種　　deliciosa 小型種　と分類するしかない模様・・・　　ただ 　borsigianaというのが世の中に浸透しすぎているため　私たちは　deliciosa var. borsigianaとして扱い、　　deliciosa　大型種　　deliciosa 小型種　と分類する 　を忘れないようにしなければならない。 これが現在の自分の見解！ ただキュー植物園の見解は後日変わるんじゃないかと予想している。 　もう一つ　デリシオサ種とボルシギアナ種を同じ位置に並べるのはどうも自分は納得いかない！ . #monsteramonday My view on Monstera borsigiana (as of January 5, 2025) In 1862, Monstera borsigiana was described as an independent species. In 1902, it was reclassified as Monstera deliciosa var. borsigiana. In 1951, borsigiana was treated as a synonym of Monstera deliciosa. Later, in 1977, according to the view of Kew Gardens, all varieties of Monstera deliciosa were unified under M. deliciosa. As a result, the name borsigiana came to be regarded as an obsolete name and is now treated as a synonym of M. deliciosa. Ultimately, they are treated as large form and small form types in practice. However, the name borsigiana has become deeply rooted in the horticultural world.
