The 4-H Club and TVL Agriculture students of San Antonio National High School took part in a hands-on training on Hydroponics Technology, opening new opportunities to smart and sustainable farming.
This impactful training was made possible through the LGU Cauayan City, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Caesar S. Dy Jr., represented by City Councilor, Hon. Rufino Arcega, and implemented by the DA-LGU City Agriculture Office headed by City Agriculturist Engr. Ricardo V. Alonzo along with their staffs represented by Maam Dovisita T. Acierto, Senior Agriculturist.
A huge thanks to our expert trainer, Sir Ricky G. Valdez, SM Foundation Trainer, affiliate of Valley Nursery, and St. Isidore Farm, for sharing his knowledge, skills, and passion with our young agri-leaders.

Heirloom Rice (Diket) refers to traditional rice varieties that have been passed down through generations, often cultivated by indigenous communities in specific regions. They are used for traditional delicacies such as suman, bibingka, palitaw, and espasol.
This Project is a significant project that our 4-H Club is excited to be starting. With this project, we are hoping to emphasize the importance of our traditional crops and protect the rich legacy of our forefathers. We pay tribute to the past and cultivate a more promising and environmentally friendly future with each seed we sow.
