The 2026 Summer Remediation Program officially commenced on May 6, 2026, at Villa Concepcion High School – Rogus Ext., reinforcing the school’s strong commitment to addressing learning gaps and ensuring that every learner achieves the required competencies. Scheduled to run until June 2, 2026, the program serves as a strategic academic intervention that provides targeted support to students who need additional time and guidance in mastering essential skills. Anchored on the principles of equity and inclusive education, this initiative reflects the school’s proactive stance on learning recovery, transforming the summer break into a meaningful period of academic engagement and growth.
Teachers of Villa Concepcion High School – Rogus Ext. play a pivotal role in the implementation of the program by delivering focused, data-driven instruction tailored to the identified needs of learners. Through remediation sessions centered on least mastered competencies, students are given renewed opportunities to grasp challenging concepts in a supportive and learner-centered environment. Parents, Learners Join Summer Remediation Orientation at Villa Concepcion High School – Rogus Ext.
Villa Concepcion High School – Rogus Ext. successfully conducted the orientation for the 2026 Summer Remediation Program on May 6, 2026, at 7:30 in the morning, bringing together parents, learners, and teacher-volunteers in a unified effort to officially launch the initiative. The activity served as an essential platform to present the program’s objectives, implementation guidelines, schedule, and expected outcomes. During the orientation, Sir Omar F. Antalan, School Head, discussed the salient features of DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2026, emphasizing its key provisions and its significance in strengthening learning recovery initiatives. He underscored that the Summer Remediation Program is a structured intervention designed to address learning gaps, particularly in the least mastered competencies, while promoting inclusive and equitable access to quality education.
The orientation also highlighted the critical role of parents and learners in ensuring the success of the program. Parents were encouraged to actively support and monitor their children’s progress at home, while learners were guided on expectations regarding attendance, participation, and academic engagement. The strong turnout and active involvement of stakeholders reflected a shared commitment to learning recovery and educational excellence. Gawagaway-yan Festival King and Queen Presentation Held at SM City Cauayan
CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela — The King and Queen Presentation of the Gawagaway-yan Festival was successfully held yesterday at SM City Cauayan, showcasing vibrant culture, creativity, and talent.
The presentation of Villa Concepcion High School – Rogus Extension featured a vibrant and creative attire known as “Ling it,” which reflects the rich cultural identity and traditions of the Rogus community. The candidates captivated the audience with their confidence and elegance as they graced the stage in their uniquely crafted costumes.
Representing the school as King and Queen were Aljouf Maranan and Glenda Segdan, who both demonstrated remarkable poise and charisma during the presentation.
Behind the success of the presentation were the school head, Omar F. Antalan, and the head coach, Jomar F. Fabros, whose leadership and guidance played a vital role in preparing the participants.
The activity forms part of the Gawagaway-yan Festival 2026, which aims to celebrate and promote the rich culture and heritage of Cauayan City.
