BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | HYGIENE PROMOTION ACTIVITY
In support of Brigada Eskwela 2026, the Philippine Red Cross – Northern Samar Chapter successfully conducted a Hygiene Promotion Activity at Talolora Elementary School, Mondragon, Northern Samar, participated by 106 pupils.
The activity focused on promoting proper handwashing practices, sanitation and environmental cleanliness awareness, dengue prevention and awareness, and menstrual hygiene management. Through interactive discussions and educational activities, the learners gained valuable knowledge and skills to help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy school environment in preparation for the opening of classes.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated volunteers for generously sharing their time, effort, expertise, and knowledge in making this activity a success:

🚑 ON DUTY FOR SAFETY | SUMMER SAYA SA IBABAO 2026 ☀️🏃♂️🚴♀️
The Philippine Red Cross – Northern Samar Chapter proudly supported the Provincial Government of Northern Samar during the Summer Saya sa Ibabao Fun Run and Bike Competition held today, May 23, 2026.
Our First Aid Station team was deployed along the event route to ensure the safety of all participants. From wound cleaning and basic treatment to assisting runners and cyclists experiencing medical concerns our volunteers are ready to assist every runners and cyclist in need.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated volunteers for their unwavering commitment and service throughout the activity. Your passion truly reflects the spirit of humanitarian service.

The Philippine Red Cross Northern Samar Chapter proudly joined the Provincial Government of Northern Samar in the 41st Kauswagan Caravan to bring essential services closer to our communities.
Through strong coordination and teamwork, our dedicated volunteers successfully served 617 individuals through:
Health lectures (Ubo at Sipon and Leptospirosis)
Vital signs monitoring
Medicine dispensing
Distribution of hot meals
This meaningful activity would not have been possible without the commitment and compassion of our amazing volunteers who continue to deliver humanitarian service.
We are truly grateful to all our volunteers and partners for making this activity a success. Together, we serve.

📍May 26-27, 2026 (2days) Occupational First Aid Training with BLS and CPR and AED Training Course
This training is accredited by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and conducted by the Philippine Red Cross, an accredited training provider of First Aid based on DOLE Department Order No. 198, Series of 2018.

United in Humanity: PRC-NSC celebrates World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2026
The Philippine Red Cross – Northern Samar Chapter joins the global celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, marking 79 years of nonstop commitment to helping communities worldwide on May 8, 2026 with the theme, "United in Humanity".
In partnership with LGU San Roque, a total of 43 youths and individuals actively participated in the activity.
The celebration highlighted the importance of humanitarian service, health awareness, and disaster preparedness through engaging sessions on Health Prevention Awareness and Hygiene Promotion Dissemination, Vital Signs Taking Orientation, Disaster Preparedness Orientation with Master of Disaster games, Blood Donation Awareness, Lecture-Demonstration on Hands-Only CPR, and RC143 recruitment.
The day also serves as a reminder to strengthen and safeguard humanitarian action, ensuring that timely assistance and compassionate service continue to reach vulnerable communities and individuals in need.
Together, we continue to inspire the youth to become active volunteers and advocates of humanity in their communities.
