BSEd Science makes waves at CoEd Fun Days
The Science Discipline once again proved that excellence extends far beyond the classroom during the College of Education’s Summer Fun Days held from April 28-30.
Over three vibrant days, the college turned into a celebration of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship as students from different departments showcased their skills in competitions, performances, and academic events. More than just a festival of games and entertainment, the event was a reflection of the College of Education's enduring mission: shaping the next generation of educators.
This year's theme turned the campus into something out of a movie as they carried a Disney-inspired concept. Each department embodied a different cinematic world: Pirates of the Caribbean for BSEd, Tinker Bell for BTLEd, Moana for BEEd, and Encanto for BPEd.
The BSEd Science students kicked things off in style, parading in Pirates of the Caribbean costume and setting the tone for everything that followed.
Beyond the themed presentations, the Science Discipline also shone remarkable excellence in various competitions. Their achievements showed not only their individual talents but also the discipline’s strong sense of determination and teamwork.
The discipline proudly celebrated the following accomplishments:
Amazing Race — BSEd Science 4th Year (Winners)
Teaching Pageant — Mark Marino, BSEd Science 4th Year (Winner)
Chess (Men) — Richard T. Dones, BSEd Science 3rd Year (Champion)
Debate — Francis F. Delos Santos, BSEd Science 3rd Year (Champion)
Oral Presentation, Research Congress — BSEd Science 4th Year (2nd Place)
Adding to the discipline's pride were its representatives in the major showcase events. Second-year students Emmanuel Adriatico and Lyka E. Abalon represented the discipline in the Mr. and Ms. CoEd competition, while first-year student Brix Senobio took the spotlight in the Fashion Runway event. Heartfelt recognition also goes to every student who participated other competitions throughout the event.
Special appreciation goes to everyone who worked on the booth, brought the theme to life, and made things happen. Your dedication and tireless effort did not go unnoticed. Thank you.
To every participant, team, supporter, and sponsor who contributed to the success of these three days: thank you. Every moment was made possible by your collective passion and hard work.
The CoEd Summer Fun Days may be over, but the pride earned and the memories made will linger long after the curtain has closed.
