Ribbon Rack
So I have a quick question. As a 3rd year cadet, one would assume quite a few ribbons have been racked up. I have an issue though, I find that often times, ribbons will simply “slide” off of the rack and disappear forever. So my question is, what do y’all do to prevent that from happening?

In AFJROTC the only things you’re supposed to keep are your ribbon rack, and medals that go with national awards. I turned my uniform in on my graduation day and asked my first sergeant who is retiring if I was allowed to keep my name tag and rank and he just said “uhh I mean not really…” And winked, and walked away.

Final Year of JROTC
Tonight was my last awards banquet. I passed off my title of battalion commander, and earned the AMVET award. I can’t believe all the things I’ve been through in this program and all the things I’ve done. If you could’ve asked my freshman self, I definitely wouldn’t have said this is where I’ll be; but, here I am. I couldn’t be more proud of my battalion and I couldn’t have an asked for a better one to lead. I’m gonna cry just writing this lol, but this is my final uniform and what I’ll be turning in soon.

Going home from my MCJROTC boarding school. Flying in my Service “C’s” because I had no civilian clothes. Going in next year as a 9th grader and maybe a Ssgt if I get promoted again.

Lack of MCJROTC Cadets
I barely see any people from the Marine Corps JROTC. I mean, we aren’t extinct really. But I just wanted to show off the uniform lmao.
