The Hilux is now electrified ⚡️

Toyota Motor Philippines revealed the Hilux BEV. It packs a 59.2kWh lithium ion battery that powers the dual electric motors. The front electric motor outputs 200Nm of torque while the back produces 269Nm. The two motors are capable of outputting 193hp. It could reach a maximum range of 315km.

Aside from that, it features a 12.3” audio display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, Multi-Terrain Select and a 360° camera.

The Toyota Hilux BEV has a pricetag of ₱2,990,000. What do you think? Is it worth it for it’s price and range?

Prices for the new Toyota models: the Land Cruiser FJ, Land Cruiser HEV, Hilux and bZ4X 🏷️

There’s no longer a base 4x4 variant for the Hilux. The lowest 4x4 variant is now at ₱1,903,000. All Hilux variants except the 4x2 J are now powered by the 2.8L 1GD engine unlike before that it was only the 4x4 models (excluding J 4x4). All have gone up 📈

The Land Cruiser FJ will have 2 variants namely TX and VX. Difference is mostly some accessories like roof rail and side step, wheel size, and a few interior finishes.

The next Navara! 🛻

The Nissan Navara Pro is now a plug-in hybrid. But the key difference compared to other dual electric motor AWD is that it has a mechanical AWD system and electric rear differential lock. It’s a more promising electrified off-roader!

It also features a Vehicle to Load (V2L), 135km electric-only range, 408PS combined power and 800Nm combined torque.
