As part and highlight of the conduct of the National Book Month Celebration, the English Department headed by Sir Richard M. Mangune, showed how extending assistance to the community through an outreach program can bring great impact. After all, both teaching and learning must not be contained only in the school.

Through this program, the English Department teachers were able to extend their service and made the kindergarten students of Candaba East Plaza - Day Care Center happy.

A short program, storytelling, simple games and loot bags made the students happy and active.

Characters in every story often reveal core truths about life, motivation, and self, highlighting courage.

As Cinderella said, "The greatest risk any of us will take is to be seen as we are."

Let's witness how Parenians braved and accepted the challenge of showing their other side. Let's take a look at the representation they wanted us to see through the activity "dress up as a character".

Sarah Mackenzie once said, "We read with our children because it gives both them and us an education of the heart and mind. Of intellect and empathy."

Truly, reading together creates lasting memories, develops language, and offers shared adventures, making literature a central part of family life.

Reading sparks creativity by expanding imagination, offering new perspectives, and providing knowledge, as seen in quotes like Dr. Seuss's "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰," while creativity itself is about connecting ideas and thinking differently, famously called "intelligence having fun" by Einstein, with books acting as "portable magic" to fuel these processes.

𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒 𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏!

In support of the Department of Education Central Office and in consonance with the Schools Division of Pampanga Office's appreciation of literature, Bahay Pare National High School has conducted the following activities during the month-long celebration of National Book Month for School Year 2025-2026.

Anchored on the theme "𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭. 𝓡𝓮𝓯𝓵𝓮𝓬𝓽. 𝓡𝓮𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓮: 𝓢𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓐𝓰𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓓𝓲𝓰𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮," this month-long celebration aims to (1) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, (2) 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, (3) 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, (4) 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, (5) 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, and (6) 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

Schools in the Municipality of Candaba, both public and private, will shift into Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) of learning tomorrow, November 12, 2025 (Wednesday).

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES|November 10 & 11, 2025

In the Executive Order No. 35 Series of 2025, the Acting Governor Dennis G. Pineda has suspended the face-to-face classes (public and private) at all levels in the province of Pampanga due to the expected impact of the severe tropical storm Uwan.

However, educational centers may implement their choice of alternative learning delivery modality applicable or execute their respective learning continuity plans accordingly.

NOVEMBER IS THE NATIONAL READING MONTH in the Philippines.

The Philippines, established by the Department of Education (DepEd) in 2011, celebrates National Reading Month in November to promote a culture of reading and improve literacy among its citizens, particularly students.

Moreover, November 27th is designated as "Araw ng Pagbasa" (National Reading Day) by Republic Act 10556, further emphasizing the month's focus.
