Today, August 22, the reached another milestone as it recognizes the benefits of what of means to be an accredited organization.

This move allows all future actions and projects come to life, and for the organization to serve its purpose in both the university and community.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙃𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙤𝙣, 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚.

In a flash of fire and smoke, 53 of our neighbors lost everything. On August 12, 2025, at around 4 p.m., a raging fire turned their homes into a pile of ashes and rubble. Ten (10) houses and three (3) boarding houses were completely destroyed, and five (5) more were left partially burned. Their lives, built over years, were gone in a matter of minutes.

𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲, 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.

Initiated by the Rotaract Club of Greater Calbayog and with the full support of our partners—the Rotary Club of Greater Calbayog, the Rotaract Club of Greater Northwest Samar State University, Progressive Union of Leaders in Service to Others (PULSO) Calbayog Chapter, and The Nexus—we are coming together to answer that call.

We are launching this donation drive to provide immediate relief and hope. We ask you to open your hearts and help us by donating:

Monetary Funds: To help us purchase supplies and assist with their urgent needs (Water, food, blankets, and toiletries) are critically needed to help them through the coming days.

Your kindness, no matter how small, is a beacon of light in their darkest hour. Together, we can show them that they are not alone.
