Lining up objects CAN also be a sign that a child has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). However, it is just one of its many signs, and it is not the same for all children who has ASD.

Respect begets respect.

People with disabilities shouldn’t be mocked and discriminated by anyone. Offensive remarks and jokes only reflect people who think that having a disability is a choice. Remember, the way we treat others speaks volumes about our character. Disabilities are not a choice, but kindness and respect are.

Every individual, regardless of ability, deserves to be treated with dignity and fairness. Mocking or discriminating against someone with a disability not only hurts them but also reveals a lack of empathy and understanding in ourselves.

A kind gesture, a thoughtful word, or simply treating people as equals can make a big difference.

Respect others, and you will earn respect in return.
