My son gave me lavender roses.

I didn’t even know I needed them, but now I hate to part with them.
While they have had better days, these roses continue to whisper of a beauty found in something far deeper than a vase.

Before I throw these away, I’ve thought of what love means. What it really means. And how a simple flower reminded me of a love that, unlike my wilting rose, will never die.

I’m grateful for men with good hearts, like my grown son who saw me and loved me.
The Savior’s love is one that blooms forever.
