Small steps spark endless hope. π―οΈ
On AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day, we light candles to remember those who have been lost to HIV/AIDS and pledge to end the epidemic. Candles are lit for every life taken, to remind us of our commitment to prevention, treatment and equality. These wavering flames represent communities' love and strength around the world.
We come together here not only to mourn, but to stand as one as human beings; stigma is not relevant in this light, all there is are hope and solidarity. We celebrate history, inspire transformation from remembrance, and craft a better future together.

This week reminds us that every mother deserves a safe pregnancy, kind and respectful care, and a healthy future for both her and her baby. π
Celebrating Safe Motherhood Week helps raise awareness about the importance of maternal health, proper nutrition, quality healthcare, and support before and after childbirth. Every woman deserves care, dignity, and support throughout her motherhood journey. πΈ
Together, we can help make pregnancies safer, babies healthier, and families stronger, making sure that no mother is ever left behind. π

Every journey carries a life, a story, a purpose. π£οΈ This Road Safety Month, let every step, turn, and stop be guided not just by rulesβbut by responsibility. π¦ A single second of caution can save a lifetime, and a moment of patience can protect countless futures. The road is shared, so let kindness, discipline, and awareness lead the way.
Be the reason someone gets home safely today. Slow down, stay alert, and choose safety over speed. Because beyond every crossing is a family waiting, a dream still unfolding, and a life worth protecting. Drive with careβyour choices matter more than you think. π

ADVISORY
To better support learner success, flexibility, and accessibility, LPUβLaguna will implement an updated learning modality schedule from May 11 to June 30, 2026.
This adjustment is in line with CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 04, s. 2020 on flexible learning, in consideration of the ongoing energy crisis, rising heat index, and insights gathered from the PULSE survey conducted among learners and mentors.
The updated modality introduces Class Cast, a structured online synchronous approach that combines concise lectures, real-time discussions, and interactive activities via Microsoft Teams, supported by LMS access to materials and recordings.
All learners are encouraged to review the updated academic calendar and stay guided by further announcements from their respective colleges.

As the month of May finally approaches, it is also considered Hypertension Awareness Month
Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is when the pressure of blood in the arteries is consistently higher than normal, putting extra strain on the heart.
Take this month as a reminder to be more mindful of your health. Monitor your blood pressure, reduce salt intake, manage stress, and stay physically active. Small habits can make a big difference.
Regular checkup, a healthy diet, and an active lifestyle can save lives. Start now, for your heart will thank you

Awareness begins with a single realization, one that echoes beyond ourselves. This Head and Neck Consciousness Week, we are reminded that knowledge is more than information; it is a quiet shield, protecting lives, guiding early detection, and strengthening communities. Every step toward awareness is a step toward prevention, a simple act with life-saving impact. π‘οΈ
In a world where vigilance is power, choosing to stay informed is choosing to care, not just for yourself, but for those around you. Let us continue to trust science, promote awareness, and stand together in building a healthier tomorrow. Because when we raise awareness, we donβt just prevent disease. π
We Protect Voices, Futures, and Lives. π€

Protection begins with a single decision, one that echoes beyond ourselves. This World Immunization Week, we are reminded that vaccines are more than just doses; they are quiet shields, safeguarding families, strengthening communities, and shaping a healthier future π‘οΈπ Every immunization is a step toward resilience, a simple act with life-saving impact.
In a world where prevention is power, choosing to vaccinate is choosing to care not just for yourself, but for those who cannot protect themselves π€ Let us continue to trust science, promote awareness, and stand together in building a safer tomorrow π Because when we immunize, we donβt just prevent disease we protect dreams, futures, and lives.
