And here they are! The finalists for the Christmas Parade of Children held at the CIty Hall last December 1, 2016. Please feel free to tag friends and relatives and invite them to our upcoming Christmas activities.

Hello po mga Calambeno! Dahil po sa masamang panahon, minabuti po ng ating butihing Punong Lungsod, Mayor Timmy Chipeco na ipagpaliban sa Lunes, Nob. 21, 2016 ang Pag-iilaw ng Giant Christmas Tree at Pagbubukas ng Bazaar and Carnival sa The Plaza. Ang iba pong mga nakaschedule na event ay tuloy po. Maraming salamat sa inyong patuloy na pakikiisa sa mga programa ng ating mahal na lungsod!

INTERDEPARTMENT CHRISTMAS DECOR CONTEST

1. Decorations must be put up in front of offices (hallway, windows, doors, partitions etc.). Please refrain from using hammering nails into cemented walls but instead use window frames.

2. Decorations must be conceptualized in line with the theme PASKO SA CALAMBA: PAG-IBIG AT PAG-ASA PARA SA KABATAAN, BIYAYANG HATID NGAYONG KAPASKUHAN and in harmony with the themed design for the cityhall.

3. Budgets should not be charged to office funds and should be limited only to P10,000. Receipts shall be submitted as proof of expenses.

4. To minimize expense, departments are strongly encouraged to use old decors, recycled and upcycled materials or materials found in the office.

5. Christmas display must be ready for judging by November 15, 2016.

6. Announcement of winners and awarding of prizes shall be done during the employees' Christmas party.

Magandang araw! Inaanyayahan po ang lahat na makiisa sa ating Basaan Festival na gaganapin sa Lunes, 24 Hunyo bilang pagdiriwang sa Pista ni San Juan Bautista! Humandang mabasa sa paradang magsisimula sa may banga, paikot ng Sampalukan pabalik ng simbahan! Makisaya at makiisa!

Magandang Umaga! Bilang pagdiriwang sa ika-152 Kaarawan ni Dr. Jose Rizal at gaya ng nakaugalian, magkakaroon po ng Symbolic Float Parade sa hapon ng June 19. Inaanyayahan po ang mga grupo, maaaring mga paaralan, kumpanya, samahang sibiko maging pangrelihiyon na magpatala sa tanggapan ng Tourism telepono bilang (049)545-6789 local 8332 para sa human delegation sa ating parada. Hanggang Biyernes, Hunyo 7, 5 nh lamang po ang pagpapatala at hindi po papayagang sumama sa parada ang hindi nakapagpatala (pasensya na po!) Maraming salamat!
