The trade mark of this dish is the sour and savory flavor usually/traditionally comes from tamarind (sampalok) mix with different vegetables, but there are several other ways on how to make this dish sour, some prefered to use, miso, guava, calamansi, green mangoes and the list goes on and on.,

This is perfect whether its cold rainy days because of the hot soup that brings heart warming experience and even when the sun is striking hot due to its cooling effect.

The combination of saltiness from the soy sauce is perfectly matched to the zesty flavor of vinegar added with an amazing aroma from the bay leaves and peppercorns! You can also add a chili pepper or two for a different kind of kick. Uhhhh Indeed, a vast flavor explosion in the mouth!

The juicy fall-off-the-bone chicken meat paired with the succulent pork that has a right thin strip of fat is indeed a match made in heaven! hmmmmmmm a very mouth watering dish perfect as a comfort food for a weather like this!
