Thrilled to share the insightful highlights from our recently concluded webinar on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in partnership with the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (COHREP) and the Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality Region IV (PARTH)!
Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera provided a deep dive into AI, showcasing its role as a human-like decision-making tool, especially in Hospitality & Tourism Management. From Chatbots revolutionizing customer service to its impact on predictive analysis and dynamic pricing - AI's potential was vividly highlighted.
However, the webinar didn't shy away from addressing ethical concerns and the importance of human intervention in research, even while utilizing AI's assistance. Dr. Bitera emphasized the need for a balanced approach.

Mr. Alex Lagata Jr. took us on a journey through AI's integration into the tourism industry, underlining its evolution and the multitude of benefits it offers. But he also shed light on potential risks like privacy issues and misinformation.
