I am very quiet and silent about my spiritual journey, and I have been journeying with the Lord for 2 and a half years already. It was a hard journey and it was not an easy ride. But right now, I fall in love with him again. Deeper and intentional. I was scared to share this because i don’t want people to get the wrong idea that this was just for a show and trying to look pious over social media. But I realized this is the reason why I am here. Because I am broken as you are and I am still imperfect trying to strive to live a life knowing Christ in my life. The more that I fall into sin, the more that I strive to be better than yesterday.
Today’s lesson is learning to detach myself from the worldly things. That even the feeling of tiredness is offered up to the Lord. That all I have is nothing, and I do not own anything.
Being with my Spiritual Director has been a great blessing. I am here once a month to help me navigate the terrain of life that has not been so easy at all. In the middle of Makati, lies a sanctuary.
I love my Catholic Faith. I love Jesus. I love the Church he founded.
