A long line of climbers moving from Camp III (~7,200 m) toward Camp IV (~7,900 m) on Mt Everest (8,848.86 m) today, 19 May 2026, as teams position themselves for tonight’s summit push with expected summits tomorrow.

Kamakailan lang naireport ang oil spill sa Brgy. Hoskyn sa Jordan, Guimaras at dala nito ay ang panganib sa kalikasan 🪸 pati na rin sa kalusugan at kabuhayan ng mga mangingisda at komunidad.

Hindi ito ang unang beses na nagka-oil spill sa Guimaras, nakatatak pa rin sa isipan ng marami ang malawakang pagtagas ng langis mula sa tanker ng PETRON noong 2006.

Dapat matuto na tayo. Panagutin ang mga kompanyang sumisira sa kalikasan ⚖️, wakasan ang dependence sa fossil fuels, at lumipat sa mas malinis na renewable energy gaya ng wind at solar.

From securing land to growing greener, more resilient communities, the work continues beyond Luntiang Bukas.

The seedlings distributed mark a continuing effort to engage communities in environmental restoration and sustainable livelihoods.

Annually, Earth Day is observed every April 22. It is a global movement dedicated to honoring the planet, raising awareness of environmental issues, and inspiring collective action toward environmental protection and conservation.

First observed in 1970 in the United States, the campaign emerged in response to increasing environmental degradation caused by toxic waste disposal and industrial pollution. It has since evolved into a worldwide observance, uniting governments, organizations, and communities in addressing pressing environmental concerns such as climate change, deforestation, pollution, and biodiversity loss.

As part of its continuing awareness-raising efforts on the importance of nurturing forests and the benefits of tree hugging to a person’s well-being, the Forest Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (FMB-DENR), warmly invites everyone to take part of this year's 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐆𝐍.

For this year's campaign, we will showcase tree species recognized for their healing and medicinal properties. Join us as we embrace and explore the medicinal and therapeutic values of trees, and discover how forests nurture our well-being while we nurture them in return.
