FRIENDLY TIPS PAG MAY BAGONG SUCCULENT/S:

1. Change SOIL pag may bagong bili na halaman if may kasamang lupa. Fast draining or mabuhaghag dapat yung lupa na ipapalit. You may soak your plants sa Dithane for protection (optional). Pwede din i-remove ang dead roots or trim roots, but you need to airdry the plant after magtrim ng roots before planting.
2. Place sa bright shaded area or sa may morning sun.
3. Slowly introduce water after 5-7 days. Konti-konti lang, wag agad isabak sa full watering to avoid rotting.
4. After a month, try galawin ang halaman (slowly and carefully). If may resitance, that's a good sign na may new roots na ang plant. If wala, follow tip #3 lang.
5. You may increase the amount of water pag may new roots na ☺️ and gradually introduce them sa sunlight to avoid etiolation.

‼️ Normal lang magdrop/magdry ng few leaves ang mga succies pag bagong tanim. Dahil hindi mo sila agad didiligan, yung leaf (bottom part) ang magiging source ng kanilang water.‼️

OH DIBA BASIC LANG??

Take note, magkakaiba ang growth rate ng species and malaking factor ang microclimate sa lugar niyo. May ibang mabilis mag ugat, may iba na mabagal o matagal. May iba na gusto sa maaraw, may iba gusto sa malamig/indirect sun. Lagi tandaan na UNDERwatering is better than OVERwatering 😉
