Kuwerdas Filipinas performs in Manila in February 2025 in celebration of the 20th year of Strings of Unity: International Rondalla/Plucked String Music Festival, initiated in 2004 by the National Music Committee of the NCCA.

Kuwerdas Filipinas Concert Series 2025 features eight (8) new compositions especially written for symphonic rondalla by Eve Duncan (Australia), Miran Tsalikian (Greece), Chong Kee Yong (Malaysia), Yuval Avital (Israel), Alessandra Salvati (Italy), Nilo Alcala (Philippines), Conrado del Rosario (Philippines), and Robin Estrada (Philippines).

This project is presented by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Musicological Society of the Philippines (MSP), and the Office of Senator Loren Legarda.

Another successful evening of music and culture at Amira the Events Place last August 23, 2024. The Lino Memorial Alumni Rondalla had the honor of performing at the Lizzy's Nook's Gunitala Event, filling the air with the beautiful sounds of traditional Filipino music.
