But here’s a fun fact you might not know: our very own Chef Kai actually started her culinary journey as one of the pioneer chefs at the world-renowned Pizza 4P’s in Ho Chi Minh City—a Japanese-Italian restaurant that’s been featured in the New York Times. It was there that she learned to craft pasta from scratch, mastering techniques that balance the delicate flavors of Japanese precision with the boldness of Italian tradition. And now, she’s bringing a touch of that magic to Second Story. We’re experimenting with unexpected pairings, familiar yet surprising flavors, and even a few secrets picked up from her early days.
