*Batay sa Republic Act 11592 o angg bagong batas sa LPG regulation na nilagdaan ni dating Pangulong Duterte noong October, 2021, ang isang LPG tank ay pasado sa standards ng LPG cylinders( DTI Phil Natl. Standard 03-1-2000 ) kung makikita Ang mga sumusunod:

*may permanent markings ( emboss sa katawan, collar o footring ng tangke )

*may durable marking ng brand o trademark na naka register sa Intellectual Property Office ( IPO), isang attached agency ng DTI.

*Ang isang bagong tangke ay may shelf life o duration hanggang 10 years mula sa date of manufacture.

*Matapos Ang 10 taon, kailangang isailalim Ang isang expired na tangke sa REQUALIFICATION process. Dadaan uli ito sa series of tests ( hydro at air testing) . Kung pasado ito sa requalification, ilalagay sa tangke ang petsa ng expiration. Bibigyan uli ito Ng 5 taon na pwede gamitin o fit for use. Then, every 5 years, ipapa requalify ulit ito.

*Sa isang Advisory ng Department of Energy ngayong September 2022, ipinabatid muli nila na bawal na po na kargahan o I refill sa Ang isang GENERIC LPG CYLINDERS, dahil hindi ito safe , hindi requalified , samakatuwid unsafe gamitin.
