Indeed, to discern Christ-centered and Gospel-proclaiming worship songs, we must root ourselves in the Bible. Worship is our highest response to God's goodness and grace. When we understand who Jesus is—His sovereignty, His worthiness, His sacrifice—our worship becomes authentic and Spirit-led.

As Revelation 4 and 5 beautifully depict, worship in heaven is centered solely on Jesus. Revelation 4 shows the throne of God, where elders and creatures worship Him constantly, crying out, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty." Revelation 5 emphasizes Jesus as the Lamb worthy to open the scroll, worthy of honor, praise, and worship. It remind us that true worship is directed to Jesus alone—worthy of all our praise, now and forever.

Knowing who Jesus is keeps us grounded in what to sing, when to sing, and how to sing—recognizing that there is a right time and a right focus for our worship. Let our songs point to Christ alone, proclaiming His kingship and His salvation.

This passage reminds us of the importance of turning our eyes to God in humility and trust, especially when facing difficulties. It encourages us to seek God's mercy and to rely on His grace, knowing that He is compassionate and willing to help us through our challenges.

Time and again, God has guided the Church to stand through another year of grace.

May our church live to the fullest for God's glory, always anchored in His promises.

1. through HIS Power
( 2 Corinthians 12:9)
That God will provide divine grace, for He said ' My grace is sufficient for you'.
God's grace is more than enough to meet all our needs. This gives assurance that no matter what we are facing as believers of Christ, the grace that comes from the Lord will always support us and sustain us.

(Philippians 4:13)
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength"

In moments of difficulty, we can pray and trust Christ for strength. Through this we can face all the challenges with confidence knowing that we are supported by Christ' s power.

Therefore, we must not forget the Power of Christ in our lives.

2. through HIS Presence
( Joshua 1:9) ... ' for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. '

3. through His Provision
God provides for our needs—not just physically but spiritually and emotionally as well. This provision brings reassurance that we are cared for, regardless of our circumstances. Trusting in God’s provision allows us to focus on what truly matters in life.

4 through His Peace
God offers a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In times of uncertainty and distress, His peace guards our hearts and minds, providing tranquility and hope. This peace reassures us that God is in control and that we can rest in His promises.

Closing Verse: Psalms 37:3-5
"Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this."

Trusting in God’s power, presence, provision, and peace, we can navigate life’s challenges with assurance and confidence. We are reminded to commit our ways to the Lord and trust in His plans for us, knowing He is our ultimate source of help and strength.
