The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit proudly celebrated one of its most anticipated and unforgettable events — the Military Ball 2026, held on May 23, 2026, at the CSU Cabadbaran Campus Gymnasium, T. Curato St., Cabadbaran City.

The event served as a meaningful celebration of the cadets’ dedication, perseverance, and hard work throughout their Military Science 1 & 2 training.

More than just a formal gathering, the Military Ball became a heartfelt tribute to the cadets’ resilience, discipline, and camaraderie throughout the academic year. It was an evening filled with reflection, celebration, and appreciation for the achievements and growth of every cadet.

One of the highlights of the program was the Recognition Ceremony, where certificates were awarded to cadets who exhibited exceptional performance and excellence during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026.

In her inspiring message, Ms. Cora B. Cabonce, Mahe expressed her pride in the ROTC unit, commending the cadets for their discipline, unity, and continuous progress. Her words motivated everyone to uphold the core values of ROTC and continue striving for excellence.

As the night came to a close, the Military Ball 2026 left lasting memories in the hearts of every cadet, officer, and guest who attended. More than an evening of celebration, it became a symbol of honor, unity, and dedication reminding everyone of the values and brotherhood that define the CSUCC ROTC Unit. Truly, the event marked another milestone in shaping disciplined, resilient, and service-driven future leaders.

The Cadets of the CSUCC ROTC Unit actively participated in the DENR Fun Run with the theme, “Lakaw Dagan Para sa Kadagatan,” demonstrating their unwavering support for environmental awareness, coastal preservation, and community solidarity.

The activity served not only as a platform to promote physical fitness and camaraderie, but also as a meaningful initiative to raise awareness on the importance of protecting and conserving our marine ecosystems. Through their participation, the cadets embodied the values of discipline, unity, and service beyond the confines of military training.

During the Fun Run, several cadets showcased outstanding performance and determination in the competition.

Presented here are the official brackets for selected games where camaraderie, discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit will be put to the test.

𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔’𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On 04 May 2026,The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus ROTC Unit under the supervision of 1501st (ADN) Community Defense Center, 15RCDG, RESCOM, PA, under the esteemed leadership of CDC Director, MAJ REGIE Q BRIONES (CE) PA, showcased an exceptional performance and dedication, displaying their passion and dedication for excellence, achieving an outstanding performance of 𝟵𝟲.𝟱𝟲% during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 held at the Oval, Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, T. Curato St., Cabadbaran City.

The RAATI serves as an annual evaluation conducted by the Philippine Army to assess the operational, administrative, and tactical readiness of ROTC units in universities and colleges across the region. This first RAATI appearance will be remembered not just for the results, but for what it represented: the beginning of a stronger, prouder CSUCC ROTCU ready to serve, lead, and compete with honor. Their performance at RAATI 2026 set a high standard and proved that dedication and unity can overcome inexperience.

The CSUCC ROTCU participated in a diverse array of activities as part of the tactical inspection process. The Cadet Officers and the Basic Cadets showcased their proficiency and readiness through tasks such as Arrival Honors, Ceremonial Parade, Inspection, Company Drill, Small Unit Tactics, M16 Assembly and Disassembly, and Basic Life Support. Additionally, they displayed their knowledge in theoretical exams like the Comprehensive Exam and Map Reading. Each activity assessed not only their physical capabilities but also their strategic thinking and teamwork skills.

The RAATI 2026 inspection team was led by COL REY P PASCO GSC (INF) PA, the official Chairperson of the RAATI 2025 Team. Their presence underscored the importance of RAATI as a benchmark for discipline and training quality among tertiary-level ROTC units.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Deomila B. Mamaoag, Campus Director, Dr. Jona J. Bioncog, Division Chief for Academic Affairs, Ms. Cora B. Cabonce, NSTP Head, and Pvt. Juanito V. Cellion Jr. PA (Res), ROTC Coordinator, for their steadfast support and invaluable guidance, which played a crucial role in the success of this event. The dedication and encouragement from our school administrators made this achievement possible.
