I remember the many times I begged for things I thought I didn’t need love, care, and acceptance. 🌷❤️‍🩹🙂

I wanted attention and comfort so badly that I did things I wasn’t proud of. I thought I had to give more, do more, prove myself more. But what I really needed were just simple words:

“I’ll be here for you.”
“You’re doing okay.”
“You are enough.”

I waited for people in my past to tell me these things. I wanted someone to look me in the eye and say it with honesty. To make me feel that I matter not because I was useful, but because I was me.

But I was waiting for people who could never say those words. And when I finally spoke about what I needed, all they gave me was silence. ❄️⛈️

They left me because they thought I was “too needy.”
But I wasn’t.
I just asked the wrong people.

Because there really are people who can give love and assurance freely, without expecting anything in return.

To be loved fully for who I am I still wonder if it’s worth the risk.
Still, little by little, I’m learning how to be happy again.
It’s true we all need kind words to keep our hearts alive.
You deserve comfort.
We all do.
So don’t forget to value the people around you.
