🚨BREAKING: Senator Jinggoy Estrada Faces New Plunder Complaint

If the newly filed allegations lead to an arrest and detention, this would mark the third major corruption-related case involving Senator Jinggoy Estrada throughout his political career.

1️⃣ 2001 Jueteng-Related Plunder Case

In 2001, Jinggoy Estrada was charged alongside former President Joseph Estrada over alleged illegal gambling (“jueteng”) payoffs.

He was arrested and detained for nearly two years.

In 2003, the Sandiganbayan granted him bail, citing insufficient evidence linking him to a broader conspiracy.

In 2007, he was acquitted after the court ruled prosecutors failed to prove the money involved came from illegal gambling collections.

2️⃣ 2014 PDAF or “Pork Barrel” Scam Case

Estrada was later charged in connection with the multibillion-peso PDAF scam involving Janet Lim-Napoles.

Prosecutors accused him of receiving ₱183.79 million in kickbacks through fake NGOs.

He surrendered in 2014 and spent over three years in detention before being granted bail in 2017.

In January 2024, the Sandiganbayan acquitted him of plunder due to reasonable doubt.

Initial bribery convictions were later overturned in August 2024.

However, several graft-related cases reportedly remained pending.

3️⃣ 2026 Flood Control Project Controversy

New allegations now link Estrada to an alleged flood control corruption scheme involving government infrastructure funds.

According to reports:

Complaints for plunder, graft, and bribery were allegedly filed before the Sandiganbayan.

A former DPWH official claimed Estrada facilitated budget insertions in exchange for kickbacks.

Estrada has denied the accusations and questioned the existence of documentary proof.

As of now, these remain allegations unless proven in court. No final ruling has been issued regarding the latest case.

PAG TANGA TALAGA TANGA FOR LIFE!

“The people are our bosses. The masa, everybody. The street sweeper, the janitor, the security guard etc. are our boss because they elected us. Our powers emanate from the public so we have to respect that.

Magtatrabaho 'yung construction worker, napaka-init ngayon ng panahon, pumupukpok doon. These are the people paying our salaries, Ms. Karmina, and yet for us in the comforts of our home, airconditioned? We don't need to go to the Senate for session kasi pwede ang teleconferencing, videoconferencing? Kaya nga we objected, nakakahiya!”

The questioning of THE Karmina Constantino and the response of Senator Erwin Tulfo??? LOUDER!!!!

KUNG LULUSOT. ABA'Y MAGALING! 🤨

“When the Senate stops acting like the Senate, people notice.”

Senator Ping Lacson’s frustration should not be dismissed as mere political drama. When a veteran lawmaker openly admits that he once thought about resigning because of the Senate’s damaged image, that says something deeper about the institution itself.

The issue is no longer about personalities or political camps. It is about credibility. The Senate was meant to stand as a check on power, not be consumed by political maneuvering and public distrust.

Institutions survive not only through laws and procedures, but through public confidence. Once people begin losing faith in them, rebuilding trust becomes far harder than losing it.

The Senate now faces a serious question: will it reclaim the independence and integrity that earned public respect, or continue down a path that further weakens public trust?

“PAG PRESIDENTE NAG-UTOS, AUTOMATIC NO CHOICE, ‘DI BA?”

In a striking statement amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, Nicolas Torre III said he is willing to join the manhunt should President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. issue the order.

The remark underscores growing pressure on authorities to enforce the law amid reports of a possible arrest operation tied to the ICC warrant controversy.

Torre emphasized that government officials are duty-bound to follow lawful directives from the Commander-in-Chief, especially when no court order blocks enforcement actions.

The statement immediately sparked intense reactions online, with supporters calling it a sign that the government is prepared to act decisively, while critics questioned the political implications of the move.

Meanwhile, legal observers continue to stress that the issue ultimately hinges on the implementation of Philippine law and the validity of enforcement procedures.
