No one can use my past against me.
I'll sit at the table and tell my story from beginning to end. I own my mistakes, my failures and every scar earned along the way. I've already made peace with the darkest chapters of my life. You can't blackmail a soul that has nothing left to hide. I don't run from my history I stand on it. Every wound became wisdom, every fall became fire. What you whisper as gossip, I wear as growth. What's tea for You... is my testimony.

They say sticks and stones break bones, but words?
Words carve scars no one sees.
They echo in dressing rooms.
They replay in my mind when I’m just trying to enjoy a meal.
They turn a walk into a battle, a mirror into a weapon.
I’ve been fat shamed so many times that I sometimes hear it before it’s even said.
Before the words leave someone’s mouth, I already brace myself.
Because I’ve heard it all:
"You should really try diet ."
"You're so confident for your size."
"You’d be healthier if you just stopped being lazy."
"Don't you care about yourself?"
What people don’t realize is that their words weigh more than any number on a scale.
They don’t just criticize a body,they diminish a person.
They teach fat people that we are problems to be solved instead of people to be loved.
Let me break something to you:
Fat does not equal unhealthy.
Fat does not equal unworthy.
Fat does not mean I’ve failed at life.
Some of us are fat because of genetics. Some because of trauma. Some because of health conditions. Some because we’re recovering from toxic relationships with food and our bodies.
And some of us are fat because we are and we don’t owe anyone an explanation.
"I’m just worried about your health," they say.
But they don’t ask about my sleep.
They don’t care about my mental health.
They don’t cheer when I move my body for joy, not punishment.
They just see fat and assume failure.
Let me ask:
If you truly cared about someone’s health, would your first instinct be to shame them?
Because shame doesn’t heal.
It wounds.
What fat people need is not judgment.
It’s respect.
It’s safety in public spaces.
It’s access to healthcare without bias.
It’s freedom to exist without ridicule.
It’s the right to wear what we want, live how we choose, and love ourselves without apology.
So this is for every person who has ever been laughed at,
Mocked at a family dinner
Or told they’re "too much."
You are not too much.
You are exactly enough.
Your body is not an apology, it is a home.
A history.
A force.
I am not your insult.
I am not your burden.
I am not here to shrink so you can feel more comfortable.
I am here.
I exist.
And I will take up space loudly, proudly, fully.
Letting go doesn't mean you stop caring; it means you recognize that you cannot save someone who refuses to save themselves, and that protecting your own well-being is equally important.
Creating boundaries is an act of selflove. Those who thrive on deception will reveal themselves when you refuse to play their game, stand firm in your truth..
Find your peace in the silence, and let your presence be a gentle support; sometimes, the greatest kindness is simply being there without needing to be heard.
