MATALAW

This is the Official Page of the Matalaw, Inc. MATALAW - a native Batangueño word for "tall and slender".

In 2012, MATALAW was created as a volunteer youth group that aimed to call for the rehabilitation of Calumpang River. In its operational definition, it refers to a person who values the environment and actively participates in environmental protection. Matalaw speaks about small people with soaring dreams for Batangas City and the Calumpang River. It is also the new description to every Batangueño that has a great concern to his/her environment.
