TRIVIA

Jerald Polintan, a visually impaired 15-year old reached the summit of Batulao last October 2017 in less than 3 hours via the new trail. It is his 2nd trail after Pico de Loro prior to closure.



NOTE

While guide is not required, we will be availing one to assist beginners in our group.

We can choose combination of old trail up and new trail down or just back trail. We will decide at the jump off. Either way, best view of Batulao is guaranted.

Most of the trail have no forest cover hence sunscreen and head gear is a must.

We can drop by the Mahogany market before going home for the fresh beef and danggit, tawilis and other dried fishes.

We can buy pack lunch before entering Evercrest so we can enjoy our breakfast at the summit while resting. McDo, Jollibee, 7-11 and carinderia are ubiquitous along the way.

Many buko and palamig vendors can be found along the trail. Still, carry at least 2 litres of water for own's health and safety.

There are ongoing political struggle on the trails therefore we expect more than 1 "toll gates" and corresponding registration fees ranging from 20 to 30 pesos.
