Before the day ends, we pause to acknowledge the silent foundation of every cadet's journey. For those of us in the NSA Cadet Program, the path toward the horizon is paved with discipline and the sacrifice of distance. While we train to navigate the vastness of the sea, we remain anchored by the steady love and grace of the homes we left behind. It is their quiet belief in us that gives us the courage to pursue our own dreams.
The maritime life demands a certain level of grit, yet that strength is rarely built in isolation. Every great sailor relies on a great anchor. For many of us, that's our mothers, who keep us grounded no matter how far we drift. Today, we honor these women for being our steady ground and our most reliable compass.

After overcoming multiple stages of screening and examinations, aspiring cadets are now entering one of the final phases of their journey, the company interview. This stage serves as a crucial step in determining who will earn the opportunity to represent and be officially sponsored by their assigned NSA Company.
With these candidates left standing, the path grows even more challenging as the selection process nears its end.
Soon, the chosen members of the 33rd Batch of NSA Cadets will finally come aboard, ready to begin a new chapter in their maritime journey.

On this day of valor, we acknowledge and celebrate the exerted sacrifices, courage, and relentless faith of the Filipino heroes who rigidly imposed their ambitions and prowess to establish a defense for our freedom and dignity.
The bravery shown and utilized to attain our freedom and unique identity as rendered in the history reminds us that being a hero does not merely come from someone's strength alone but also from loving this country, having deep faith in God, and prioritizing the welfare of others, especially during crisis or in great suffering.
Salamat sainyong sakripisyo sa bawat serbisyo, at mabuhay ang ating minamahal na inang bayan na s'yang ating pinagyayaman.
