The Office of the Prefect of Discipline successfully spearheaded the Anti-Bullying and Gang-Related Violence Symposium on November 25, 2025, joined by student organization representatives and class presidents.

We were honored to have PCpl Karla Kate N. Manuel, SDS 1st PMFC KKDAT Coordinator, as our resource speaker, who highlighted the realities and impact of bullying and emphasized the principles of the Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act 11313).

This initiative, facilitated by JDRRA, aims to strengthen the proactive implementation of anti-bullying measures, discourage gang involvement among students, and orient learners on the proper process of reporting such cases.

Together, we continue building a safer, more respectful, and student-centered school environment.

Happy World Teachers' Day!

To all the teachers who saw our potential even when we didn’t see it ourselves — thank you.

You didn’t just teach lessons, you shaped lives.
I’m forever grateful for your patience, guidance, and heart. ❤️

In a time when the line between discipline and abuse is as thin as a student’s excuse for being late, your Prefect of Discipline chooses collaboration over confrontation. 💼✊

Today, we extended not a stick—but a handshake—to the owners and operators of Barobo’s entertainment establishments, convenient stores, and sari-sari stores.

As part of our "No Maroon Policy" at Barobo National High School, we initiated a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing with these establishments—a proactive step to ensure our students stay safe, focused, and away from places they shouldn’t be during school hours.

This policy isn’t meant to alienate, but to align—because when the school, community, and businesses stand together, we create a stronger, safer learning environment. Less of those “nakita nako imong estudyante didto, Sir 😅” moments, and more of “naa sa klase, Sir—ga tuon.”

🌟 Special thanks to the LGU Barobo, led by the ever-supportive Mayor Ronie Martizano, with the participation of SB Conde, Sir Jomar, and the Barobo MPS—for continuously backing our school’s efforts through community partnership.

👭 To my partners in compassion and commitment, the MSWD headed by Marilou Godito, RSW, and the indomitable Ma’am Plitchie Bantolinao—thank you for being the strong arms behind our soft approaches.

🎓 And of course, shoutout to my ever-reliable
Junior DRR Advocates and 1st SDS PMFC KKDAT led by Noah Manalop Bahian , and the BNHS SSLG headed by Airah Jane C. Mosquera. Your passion and energy fuel our purpose.

Discipline is tough—but together, you make it worth every effort.

Here’s to proving that discipline doesn't have to be a battle—it can be a beautiful alliance. 💙👮‍♂️📚

In support of the OPD’s commitment to implementing Positive and Restorative Discipline, it is essential that both internal and external stakeholders work collaboratively to ensure consistent guidance and support within the school and the wider community.

With the dedicated efforts of Ms. Ivy Cullamat, RGC Counselor Bheng – our school guidance counselor – and the dynamic MSWDO of Barobo, Malou Montilla Godito , RSW, we strengthen our shared mission of nurturing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for every learner.

🌟 Introducing Project HILIG 🌟
Honing Interests and Leadership through Involvement and Growth

The Prefect of Discipline is proud to introduce Project HILIG. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for every BNHSians to step outside the boundaries of their regular academic routine, as one day each month is dedicated to the activities of our school’s recognized clubs and organizations.

During this time, members engage in meetings, planning, and capacity-building sessions, while non-members are encouraged to explore a range of enriching activities that spark curiosity, ignite passions, and foster personal growth.

Through Project HILIG, we empower every student to discover their potential, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful connections with peers. It’s a platform for growth—intellectually, socially, and emotionally. By embracing the full spectrum of interests and talents within our school community, this program nurtures a spirit of inclusivity, collaboration, and self-discovery.

"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment — in sports, in school, and in life." 🏀✨

The first meeting of the planned BNHS Basketball Club marks more than just the beginning of a new student organization — it’s a powerful step towards growth, resilience, and transformation.

The Office of the Prefect of Discipline is proud to support this initiative, especially as it opens doors for students who once sat across from us for the wrong reasons, and are now standing tall, driven by purpose and passion through sports.

We believe in second chances, in the strength of teamwork, and in the power of discipline to change lives — on and off the court. Here's to a new chapter of dedication, excellence, and unity at BNHS. 💪🔥

Kudos sir Michael John Gerard Lomocso , sir Leif and sir DG and to all aspiring BNHS Basketball athletes.
