31% or 1/3 of Filipinos Living With HIV are between 15-24 years old, with less than 1% less than 15 years old.

Most common mode of transmission is through s*xual contact, including in*******se and oral s*x. Mother to child transmission is also possible through vaginal birth and breast milk.

It is best for everyone who is s*xually active (even oral s*x) to get tested for HIV. All pregnant mothers should also get tested before giving birth. It’s your right to know.

Do not discriminate against PLHIV, be aware of the reasons why people get HIV and do not be judgmental. Some are victims of r**e, in**st, or s*xual abuse. Be kind, you don’t know what people are going through.
