So letās rise as sons and daughters of the secret place. Letās worship without performance, give without trumpet, pray without pretense, fast without display. Letās be the Church that seeks the Father in secretābecause in His presence, we are formed for His purpose.

Thatās where Jesus calls us in Matthew 6:1ā16āaway from the noise, away from the spotlight, into the quiet where itās just you and the Father.
In a world that celebrates the public and the visible, God is inviting us to something deeper: a life of prayer, worship, and devotion that isnāt about performance, but about presence. Itās in the secret place where chains break, where hearts are healed, and where faith becomes real.
This coming Sunday, September 28, 2025, weāre gathering for UNITE Fellowshipāa night to step away from the crowd and step into the Fatherās presence. Together, weāll discover what it means to live for the audience of One, to be sustained by His Spirit, and to find reward not in applause, but in intimacy with Him.

The saying "no man is an island" emphasizes that no one can truly live independently, cut off from others. God designed us for fellowship. In Genesis, even in the perfection of Eden, God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18). We are meant to share our burdens, celebrate our joys, and spur one another on in faith.
When we gather in Jesus' name, we experience His presence in a unique and profound way. This gathering can happen in many formsāthrough worship, prayer, or simply coming together to support and encourage one another. It is in these moments of togetherness that we are reminded we are not alone in our journey. The presence of Jesus strengthens us and binds us together as His body, the church.
If you've ever felt the weight of trying to go through life on your own, let this be an encouragement: God places people in your life for a reason. Lean into those relationships. Seek community where Christ is at the center, and you will find that you are not walking alone.
Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." This verse reminds us of the power and presence of Jesus in the community. It reflects the truth that we are not created to live in isolation but to thrive in relationshipsāboth with God and with one another.

Seeking God's guidance first requires humility and trust-a conscious surrender of control. This doesn't come easily, especially in a world that encourages self-reliance and independence. Yet, when we approach God first, we acknowledge His sovereignty and wisdom over our own limited understanding. This act of surrender positions us to receive direction that is not just good but perfectly aligned with His purposes for our lives.
Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This verse is a profound call to prioritize God above all elseānot just when life feels out of control, but in every moment, every decision, every prayer.
āDo we ever ask God first, or is God just an option when it comes to asking for guidance?āāis a question that hits straight to the heart of our faith walk. Too often, we live as though God is an afterthought. We make plans, chase goals, consult friends and experts, and only turn to God when the results donāt align with our desires or when we've exhausted all other avenues. Itās like treating God as Plan B, when He was meant to be our guiding light from the start.
Seeking God's guidance first requires humility and trustāa conscious surrender of control. This doesnāt come easily, especially in a world that encourages self-reliance and independence. Yet, when we approach God first, we acknowledge His sovereignty and wisdom over our own limited understanding. This act of surrender positions us to receive direction that is not just good but perfectly aligned with His purposes for our lives.
Think about this practically. The next time you face a decisionābig or smallāpause. Pray. Ask yourself, āHave I sought Godās will in this? Or have I leaned on my own plans and options?ā
Inviting God to lead is not just a spiritual gesture; it shapes hearts and transforms our priorities.
Letās challenge ourselves to make God not just one option among many, but the first and only option when seeking guidance. By seeking Him first, His promise in Matthew 6:33 reminds us that everything else will follow.
Whatās holding you back from living this way?

This Fatherās Day, we celebrate not just biological fathers but every man who steps into the role of guiding, protecting, and nurturing others.
1 Corinthians 4:15 reminds us: "Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel."
This verse highlights that fatherhood is not just about bloodāitās about spiritual leadership, mentorship, and guidance.
A true fatherāwhether biological or spiritualāis someone who invests in others, shaping lives through wisdom, love, and faith. Many young people may not have a present father figure, but God raises spiritual fathersāmentors, pastors, and leaders who step in to guide, encourage, and disciple. Just as Paul became a spiritual father to many, we are called to lead and nurture the next generation.
Fatherhood is about legacy. Itās about leaving behind faith, integrity, and wisdom that will impact lives beyond our own. Whether you are a father, a mentor, or a leader, your influence matters. Your words, actions, and presence shape the future of those around you.
So today, we honor every man who has stepped into the calling of fatherhoodānot just in raising children but in raising disciples, leading with love, and reflecting the heart of our Heavenly Father. Your role is vital, your impact is lasting, and your leadership is needed.

Approaching God boldly means coming to Him with confidence and assurance, free from fear or hesitation. This boldness is not about our own worthiness but is founded in the access granted to us through Jesus. It involves:
1. Trust in His Promises: Believing God invites us to seek Him and fulfill His word.
2. Assurance in His Mercy: Knowing His throne is a source of grace where we can share our needs without fear of judgment.
3. Authenticity in Worship: Freely expressing ourselves, assured that God welcomes us as we are.
4. Relying on His Strength: Acknowledging that we can depend on His power, especially in our weaknesses.
Itās an act of humble trust, where we surrender self-reliance and embrace the fullness of His love and grace. Have you experienced a time when this kind of bold approach to God transformed your heart?
