Juan 19:28 - "Pagkatapos nito, pagkaalam ni Jesus na ang lahat ng mga bagay ay naganap na nga, upang matupad ang kasulatan, ay sinabi, nauuhaw ako."

John 13:5 - "Nang magkagayo'y nagsalin ng tubig sa kamaw, at pinasimulang hugasan ang mga paa ng mga alagad, at kinuskos ng toalya na sa kaniya'y nakabigkis"

"Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."

On Holy Tuesday, Jesus taught the people in Jerusalem for the last time before His crucifixion. He spoke with authority, warned about what would happen to the Temple, and reminded everyone to stay watchful and ready.

In our spiritual life, this teaches us to always be prepared and faithful. We should not wait for the “right time” to follow God, but choose Him every day in our actions and decisions.

𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐎 | 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘

"But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed."
-Matthew 27:20

Today reminds us how easily people can be influenced to choose what is wrong, even when they know what is right. On Holy Monday, Jesus cleansed the temple, showing His desire to remove what is impure and restore what is holy. Yet the same people who witnessed His truth were later persuaded to reject Him. This shows how quickly hearts can change when they are not firmly rooted in God.

In our spiritual life, we are often like the crowd. We sometimes choose what is easier, more popular, or more comfortable instead of choosing Christ. Holy Monday is a reminder for us to examine our hearts and allow Jesus to cleanse what does not belong there. It calls us to choose Him and stand for what is right, even if others do not.
