The Engineering Student Council proudly congratulates 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering student, for being the champion in the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 held at the Senator Edgardo J. Angara Convention Center, Baler, Aurora on September 2, 2026.

This competition was organized by the Provincial Government of Aurora - Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), in collaboration with the Municipal DRRM Councils and the Schools Division of Aurora, Department of Education (DepEd), in observance of National Disaster Resilience Month.

Buong-pusong nakiisa at nakilahok ang mga mag-aaral mula sa School of Engineering sa mga programa at timpalak na inihanda sa pangunguna ng ASCOT - Supreme College Student Council, katuwang ang ASCOT-Samahan ng mga Nagdadalubhasa sa Filipino, SWK, at iba pang mga organisasyon sa institusyon.

Ang mga gawaing ito ay malaking tulong sa mga mag-aaral ng ASCOT upang maging mahusay hindi lamang sa kani-kanilang larangan, kundi maging sa paglinang at pagpapayaman ng kanilang pagiging makabuluhang mamamayang Pilipino na may pagpapahalaga sa wikang pambansa. Nawa'y magsilbi itong paalala at inspirasyon sa mga susunod na propesyunal ng ating lipunan—na maging mamamayang handang maglingkod sa inang bayan at magpahalaga sa sariling atin.

Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino at Maligayang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa sa ating lahat!

Taos-pusong binabati ng Engineering Student Council ang lahat ng mag-aaral mula sa School of Engineering na nakiisa at nagkamit ng gantimpala sa katatapos lamang na pagdiriwang ng 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ng ASCOT!

Ang inyong ipinamalas na talento, husay, at dedikasyon sa iba't ibang larangan at patimpalak ay tunay na nagdala ng malaking karangalan sa ating departamento. Pinatunayan ninyo na ang Inhinyero ng ASCOT ay hindi lang mahusay sa agham at teknolohiya, kundi may pagmamahal din sa wikang pambansa at kulturang Pilipino.

The second day of RISE EXPO 2026: Research, Innovation for Sustainable Extension centered on the presentation of groundbreaking research papers and innovative projects at the ASCOT Hostel, Zabali Campus.

The School of Engineering (SOE) actively participated across various categories under Engineering, Information, and Industrial Technology, presenting research proposals, ongoing studies, and completed research projects. SOE delegates showcased their technical expertise and academic rigor in the Student Research Colloquium (Oral and Poster Presentations) as well as the Faculty Research, Technology, and Innovation Pitching for Student Product Development Competition.

Students across various schools within ASCOT demonstrated their skills, creativity, and brilliant minds in research and development—reaffirming their shared commitment to delivering science-backed, technology-driven solutions for the communities and people of Aurora.

𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 │ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭

The School of Engineering (SOE) proudly participated in the opening day of the RISE EXPO 2026 held at the ASCOT Hostel, Zabali Campus, Baler, Aurora on August 20, 2026.

The event was attended by key college officials led by ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, and was jointly organized by the ASCOT Research and Development Office under Dr. Alking Gorospe and the ASCOT - Extension and Rural Development Office led by Ms. Glenda Gines.

In her Keynote Address, DA-BAR Director Dr. Cecilia N. Gascon stressed the importance of creating real-world value through innovation. She urged researchers to align their scientific work with community needs, highlighting that true research success lies in the positive impact and changes it brings to society.

The first day also featured plenary talks from international experts. Dr. Myra O. Villareal, a Balik Scientist from Sophia University (Japan), discussed bio-innovation strategies to turn local Aurora resources into global functional foods. Meanwhile, Dr. Pratik Rajan Mungekar of the Mashelkar Swarup Space and Innovation Center (India) tackled affordable excellence through inclusive innovation.

The School of Engineering remains committed to supporting research-driven initiatives that foster technological advancement and community development.

On August 20, 2026, during the RISE EXPO 2026 at the ASCOT Hostel, Zabali Campus, student leaders from the ASCOT - School of Engineering had the privilege of meeting world-class scientist, Dr. Pratik Rajan Mungekar of the Mashelkar Swarup Space and Innovation Center (India). The inspiring interaction encouraged the student leaders to pursue meaningful research that delivers value to the world, in the world, and for the world.

The ASCOT – Engineering Student Council stands in unity with the nation in commemorating Ninoy Aquino Day today, August 21st.

The Engineering Student Council (ESC) officially launched the Engineering Student Service Center (ESSC) at the Old Engineering Building, ASCOT-Zabali Campus.

The launch was attended by School of Engineering Dean Dr. Mark Angelo Espiritu Diaz and ESC officers led by President Arjay Alimodian. The center aims to support engineering students by offering free essential services:

- 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 for academic requirements and research
- 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 for engineering references
- 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 for exams and lab work
- 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for daily hydration
- 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 for quick breaks, stress relief, and student bonding

ESC encourages all engineering students to visit the council office, utilize the available amenities, and take full advantage of the newly established services.
