Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang sakripisyo upang tayo rin ay mamuhay nang may karangalan, pagmamahal sa bayan, at malasakit sa kapwa.

The 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔) successfully conducted its 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 for the 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫. The day began with a lecture on 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, led by 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐋 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫 and 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐁 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐫. The lecture emphasized that proper hygiene and sanitation promotes overall health, boost morale, and contribute to a cadet’s readiness to fulfill greater responsibilities.

This was followed by an insightful lecture on 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, led by 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐨. The discussion emphasized that personal growth should not be anchored solely on how others perceive us, but rather on developing ourselves from within. Personal development requires conscious effort to improve one’s character, mindset, skills, and other aspects of life.

The training day then proceeded to Manual of Arms, where the cadets were taught the proper handling and ex*****on of rifle movements. With every movement demonstrated their discipline, coordination, precision, and responsibility, further developing the skills and values essential to becoming responsible individuals.

The 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔) successfully conducted its 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫. The day begin with a lecture on 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, led by 𝐂/𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐁 𝐄𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐬 and 𝐂/𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐀 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐚𝐚𝐧. The session emphasized that self-development comes from different aspects of life from understanding who we are to striving toward our ideal selves, guided by morals and values.

This was followed by another insightful lecture about the 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 led by 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐏 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐚 and 𝐂/𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐘 𝐍𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚. The session emphasized the importance of proper drills, facing movements, and commands. Drills are not simply about marching or movement. They cultivate presence of mind, discipline, precision, and obedience.

The day continued with military drills and marching exercises. As the cadets marched across the field, they demonstrated persistence, courage, and self-discipline. Through every march, every command, and every formation, the cadets displayed perseverance and commitment to self-development while honing themselves for selfless service to the nation.

Areh! Bihag ng ganda ng mayamang kasaysayan, masaganang bukirin, at nakakabighaning baybayin, ang Baler ay tunay na kanlungan para sa mga estudyanteng galing sa iba't ibang bayan, mainit na patutunguhan ng mga turista, at akaw! Isang minamahal na tahanan kung saan ang bawat Balereño ay ipinagmamalaki ang kanilang pagka-kabilang.

Marching with pride and discipline, buong-giting na nakiisa ang mga kadete ng ASCOT ROTCU sa parada ng piyesta, areh! Ipinamalas nila hindi lang ang disiplina at husay sa pagmartsa, kundi pati na rin ang taos-pusong paggalang at pasasalamat sa pamayanang Baler na sa kanila'y umalalay at nag-alaga. Akaw! bawat hakbang sa daanan ng parada ay pagpupugay sa mayamang kasaysayan ng Baler, at salamin ng paglilingkod, disiplina, at pagmamahal sa bayan na patuloy na hinuhubog ng yunit.

We witness the dedication and hard work of the people who keep Baler moving forward, the resilience of ordinary citizens striving for a better future. The activity brought together personnel and stakeholders in a collective effort to support the Philippine Army's commitment to strengthening the nation's reserve force while promoting the spirit of volunteerism and service to others.

Through their participation, the ASCOT ROTCU cadets demonstrated that service extends beyond military training—reflecting the values of selflessness, compassion, discipline, and commitment to the nation.
