Ngayong Araw ng mga Manggagawa, kaisa ang Boy Scouts of the Philippines sa pagkilala at pagpupugay sa bawat manggagawang Pilipino—anumang larangan, anumang tungkulin.

Hindi laging magaan ang laban. May mga araw na mahaba, mabigat, at puno ng pagsubok. May mga sakripisyong tahimik na pinipiling harapin para lamang maitawid ang araw at maitaguyod ang kinabukasan. At sa likod ng lahat ng ito, nananatiling matatag ang manggagawang Pilipino.

Bilang mga Iskawts, isinasabuhay natin ang sipag, malasakit, at pananagutan sa paraang may pakialam at may pagkilala sa tunay na kalagayan ng kapwa. Hindi lang sa pagtulong, kundi sa pagiging mulat, maunawain, at handang makiisa sa pagbuo ng mas makatarungan at makataong komunidad.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Bataan Council, under the dedicated leadership of Council Scout Executive Modesto Ancheta, successfully participated in the 2026 Regional Scout Youth Forum (RSYF) held last February 17-19, 2026 in the Province of Tarlac.

Our Bataan delegates stood tall as they engaged in high-level discussions, policy-making, and leadership workshops alongside fellow Scouts from across Central Luzon. Their active participation reflects the council's commitment to nurturing the next generation of visionary leaders.

Dominic Savio may have been young, yet his life shows that even the smallest acts of courage and kindness can leave a lasting impact. Alive with faith, joy, and a boundless spirit of service, he touched the lives of those around him and made every moment count.

As Patron Saint of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, his life calls Scouts to lead with heart, act with courage, and turn every small choice into a mark that lasts.

Ngayong National Women’s Month, kinikilala at pinapahalagahan natin ang lahat ng mga kababaihang Scouts, Scout Leaders, volunteers, at mga kababaihang katuwang sa pagsusulong ng adhikain ng Scouting.

Sa diwa ng mga babaeng unang naglingkod at nanguna sa ating komunidad, ipinagdiriwang natin ang mahalagang papel ng kababaihan sa paghubog ng mas makatao, makatarungan, at inklusibong lipunan.

"The scouting movement is not just about survival skills; it's about building the character required to lead a nation."

The Bataan Council successfully convened its annual Youth Forum from February 20 to 22, 2026, hosted by Orani National High School. The three-day summit brought together student leaders and scouts from across the province to engage in leadership development and policy formulation.

The event was headlined by Hon. Atty. Antonino Roman, 1st District Congressman, who emphasized the critical role of youth in nation-building. Dr. Gleceria C. Mateo, School Principal II, welcomed the delegates, highlighting Orani NHS’s commitment to holistic student growth.

Key officials in attendance included Dr. Christian Carizal (OIC PSDS), Dr. Isagani De Leon (Council Chairman), and SL Modesto Ancheta (Council Scout Executive), all of whom presided over sessions focused on civic responsibility and the scouting spirit. The forum concluded with the adoption of several youth-led resolutions aimed at community welfare.

169 years ago, Robert Baden-Powell was born. He saw that young people can do more than they are told, and that character is shaped by the choices we make every day.

He trusted young people to stand on their own, to act with courage, and to keep their word. Scouting became the proving ground where actions, not words, define who you are, and where small choices shape a lifetime of character.

Founder’s Day reminds every Scout that leaving the world better starts with each of us. What you do, how you act, and the way you keep your word today can echo far beyond what you see.
