The Bagabag Fire Station actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Murong Elementary School on June 1, 2026. Under the leadership of FSINSP BRIANE M MACALLING, Municipal Fire Marshal and personnel of the station, together with the On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) from PLT College Inc., joined the annual initiative of the Department of Education (DepEd) aimed at preparing school facilities for the opening of the new academic year.

The activity involved cleaning, maintenance, and other volunteer efforts to help ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students and teachers. Through its participation, Bagabag Fire Station reaffirmed its commitment to community service and its support for programs that promote education, safety, and preparedness within the community.

With the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” Brigada Eskwela 2026 highlights the importance of unity, volunteerism, and collective responsibility in creating a better learning environment for every learner. The spirit of “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan” remains at the heart of the program, bringing together government agencies, stakeholders, and volunteers in ensuring that schools are ready, safe, and welcoming for the incoming school year.

Bagabag Fire Station remains committed to supporting educational initiatives and fostering safer communities through active community engagement and public service.

Personnel of the Bagabag Fire Station conducted a house-to-house fire safety survey at Barangay San Geronimo to strengthen community awareness and ensure compliance with basic fire safety measures. The activity aimed to educate residents on fire prevention practices, identify potential fire hazards within households, and promote preparedness in case of fire emergencies. Fire safety leaflets and practical safety reminders were also provided to the residents during the conduct of the survey.
