๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Proud cheers, heartfelt embraces, and joyful tears filled the University Amphitheater as 273 graduating students of the College of Engineering marched across the stage during the University's 80th Commencement Rites, June 13.
โTo those whose path looks differentโwhether you are in this hall or somewhere elseโwala kaso. Sige lang. Padayon ta. It is okay. Taking a different road does not mean you have failed. Sometimes, life leads us somewhere we never intended to go, but that does not make our journey less meaningful. [...] At the end of the day, success is not measured by how straight the road was, but by the courage to keep walking when it changed direction.โ These were the words shared by Virva Ynah T. Peralta, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Summa Cum Laude, and Batch 2026 Valedictorian, in her valedictory speech. Peralta emerged as the valedictorian among the University's 1,651 graduates of Batch 2026.
The commencement ceremony honored the graduates for successfully completing their respective engineering programs and recognized outstanding academic achievers for their excellence and commitment throughout their university journey.
Faculty members, university officials, family members, and guests gathered to witness the historic occasion as the College of Engineering celebrated another milestone in its legacy of producing competent and socially responsible engineers.
As the ceremony drew to a close, graduates proudly turned their tassels and celebrated the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and sacrifice. The moment marked not only the end of their academic journey but also the beginning of new opportunities as they step forward as future engineers ready to make a meaningful impact on society.

๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Flashing smiles and proud eyes were witnessed as the College of Engineering students were recognized and hooded during the Baccalaureate Mass ahead of the University's 80th Commencement Rites in the University Gymnasium, June 9.
โAs engineering students, we learned that no structure can stand without a strong foundation,โ shared Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering graduate John Carlo Basit, Magna Cum Laude.
โLooking around this Gymnasium, it became clear that our foundations are never built on concrete alone. They are built through faith, sacrifices, and guidance. No graduate stands alone because every success stands on the shoulders of those who made it possible,โ he added.
Moreover, the College of Education, School of Law, and Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School also joined the Baccalaureate Mass.
