Long time no post!

Lucky65 V3 is a really amazing out-of-the-box experience.

LOL, I’m not on hiatus, but projects aren’t as plenty as they were a few years ago. Boards these days are already really good straight out of the box, and mods feel mostly unnecessary at this point. The rise of HE and TMR boards has also kind of overshadowed mechanical keyboards, and as a hobbyist, those boards, while great for gaming, aren’t that impactful to the hobby itself. It feels like most HE boards sound thocky by default, so mods don’t really do much for them. On top of that, recent design trends and gimmicks all feel the same, with nothing really new.

Overall, the hobby has become more accessible and offers more variety than ever. More lasons to come!

teeboards LOST a "Loyal" Customer Today!

teeboards has always been my go-to place to relax, read, get some work done, and enjoy a good keyboard modding session. I’d almost call myself a "loyal" customer. I said "almost" because I also regularly go to Jan Edrin.

But today was the first time I left teeboards disappointed.

I ordered a stabs lubing and switch soldering, planning to stay awhile and read. The queue wasn’t too long. When it was my turn, the modder asked for my name (as usual) and wrote it on the box.

When he set the board down, I saw it read “Jade.” I corrected him, saying it should be “JP.” No apology, he crumpled the cup and grabbed a new one. I even spelled out the initials: It's JP, J for Juliet and P for Papa, JP.

After that, I handed over a ₱1,000 bill for the payment. He asked if I had a smaller bill. I didn’t, but I offered to get the change later since I’d be staying there anyway. He “borrowed” my receipt (perhaps as a reminder) but ended up giving me the change right then. And yet, he still kept the receipt with him.

I waited for my order. A few minutes passed, and I heard a barista call out in an unpleasant tone: “full mods for JK!”

I didn’t react. It wasn’t my name. I assumed someone else had a similar order. But after several more minutes and the addition of a general cleaning to the tray, I started to wonder. Still, “JK” was being called, repeatedly and coldly, with no one stepping up.

That’s when I realized: they meant me.

Frustrated and disappointed, I decided to walk out without claiming my order. It’s been about 30 minutes now. I imagine they’re still calling out “JK” for an order that’s probably headed to the garbage can soon.
