Today is May 10th. The words Happy Mother’s Day are written soft and clear across the page, yet they carry only a small part of what this moment truly holds.

This is no ordinary hug. It is the first home a child ever knows. It is the first place a young heart learns it belongs.

Her hands curve close like roots winding deep into the earth. They are tender, yet strong enough to cradle every fear, and every joy, and every small or great thing that will ever be.

There is no condition here, and no end. No distance could ever stretch far enough to fray this bond. No passage of time could ever wear it thin. She carries every first breath, and every first smile, and every step taken or yet to come. That love is carried in every beat of every heart, woven into every part of who we are.

This day bears her name, but every day belongs to her. Every hug, and every gentle word, and every quiet shared moment is a poem written just for her. It is a story of love that began long before any life came to be, and will outlive every star in the sky.

Last May 3, 2026 at Roy’s Hotel, the spotlight shined brightly on the talented 𝐂𝐈𝐓 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬 during the highly anticipated Sine Recoleto Film Festival 2026 Awards Night. It was truly an unforgettable evening filled with excitement, emotions, and pride as student filmmakers, artists, and supporters gathered together to celebrate the beauty of storytelling and filmmaking.

The night became even more meaningful as our Falcons proudly showcased their hard work, dedication, and creativity through their outstanding film entries. Competing alongside other talented participants, the team received multiple nominations in major categories including 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, and 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, proving the team’s excellence both behind and in front of the camera.

Adding more pride to the celebration, the Falcons also brought home remarkable victories during the awards ceremony. On top of these achievements, the CIT Falcons proudly secured 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥, making the night even more special and unforgettable for the entire team.

This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance, vision, and dedication of their director, 𝐌𝐚. 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬. Special thanks for leading the team with passion and inspiring everyone to give their very best both on and off the screen.

More than the awards and recognitions, the event became a celebration of teamwork, passion, and artistic expression. Every nomination and every achievement reflected the countless hours of effort, creativity, and commitment poured into making the project truly special. 𝐂𝐈𝐓 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 l A Night of Glamour, Grandeur, and Glory ♠️♥️✨

CIT Night finally wrapped up last night, April 30 at Sugarland Hotel, and what an incredible night it was! One of our most awaited events of the year turned into such a vibrant celebration, bringing the whole department together in one place filled with good vibes, happy faces, and pure excitement.

Staying true to our Casino Night theme, our Falcons stepped out looking absolutely stunning, carrying themselves with so much glamour and class while dressed in their most elegant fits. The fun never stopped from the very start! We enjoyed thrilling games that kept everyone engaged and cheering, followed by a spectacular runway show where style and creativity took center stage, presenting fashion that was truly world-class. We also witnessed amazing dance showcases that lit up the whole venue, bringing energy, talent, and passion to every performance.

We also held our special awarding ceremonies to honor excellence and dedication. We recognized the winners of the CIT Sportsfest Houses, gave heartfelt appreciation to our hardworking Intel Volunteers, celebrated our skilled eSports Champions, and finally awarded the most anticipated title of the night Best Dressed.

And just when we thought the fun was coming to an end, the celebration only got better as we moved into the much-loved after-party! Everyone let loose, danced the night away, laughed until our sides hurt, and made memories that we will surely look back on with so much joy. It was the perfect way to cap off such a wonderful evening.

From the games, fashion, and performances to the meaningful recognitions and endless fun, every moment made it extra special. CIT Night 2026 will always be one of our favorite milestones!

The stage is set for an unforgettable night! In celebration of the CIT Night 2026, all CIT students are 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM in preparation for the CIT Night. 🎰🎲

𝐀 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 | CITSC Engages in Court Immersion ⚖️🏛️

On April 22, 2026, some of the CIT Student Council Officers, together with some of the CBA Student Council Officers, Judiciary Branch of UNORSSGO and the School of Law of UNO-R, took part in a meaningful Regional Trial Court Immersion and Observation.

The experience provided a closer look into the judicial process, allowing student leaders to witness firsthand how justice is administered within the courtroom. From observing proceedings to understanding legal protocols, the activity deepened their appreciation for the rule of law and the responsibilities carried by those in the justice system.

More than just an academic exposure, the immersion served as a platform for growth instilling values of integrity, accountability, and civic responsibility among future leaders. It stands as a reminder that leadership is not only about service, but also about understanding the systems that uphold society.

The University Cup 2026 has officially drawn to a close, marking a significant milestone for the College of Information Technology. After a series of intense competitions and hard-fought battles, the Falcons have finally achieved a glorious finish, breaking previous records and ascending in the overall rankings.

Despite facing numerous challenges and strong opposition throughout the tournament, CIT remained united and determined. The team proved that with true spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and teamwork, they stand strong as one.

Displaying resilience until the very end, the Falcons secured the 6th place in the overall standing. This achievement is not just a rank, but a testament to their hard work and dedication, finally ending the streak and reaching new heights!

𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 | CIT Cheerdance Team Shows Pride at UNO-R Stage
The UNO-R Amphitheater came alive as colleges gathered for the cheerdance competition, showcasing electrifying performances filled with energy, creativity, and school pride.

Representing the College of Information Technology, the CIT Cheerdance Team delivered a routine marked by strong coordination, preparation, and determination. From synchronized motions to impressive stunts, the team captivated the crowd and earned loud cheers from supporters throughout their performance.

Their efforts were recognized as CIT secured the 5th runner-up spot, a testament to their hard work and commitment on the competition floor. Each lift, toss, and formation reflected the team’s discipline and unity, proudly representing their college on a highly competitive stage.

In the overall results, the College of Business and Accountancy emerged as Champions, followed by the College of Engineering as 1st runner-up, the College of Education, the College of Allied Medical and Health Sciences, the College of Arts and Sciences as 4th runner-up, and the College of Criminal Justice Education as the last placer.

Despite the rankings, CIT’s performance stood out as a display of passion, teamwork, and school spirit leaving a lasting impression and setting the bar for future performances.

𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇 | CIT Men’s Football Team Secures 3rd Place in UCUP 2026
The CIT Men’s Football Team showcased grit and determination in the UCUP 2026 Men’s Football division, battling through the semifinals and clinching a 3rd place finish after two hard-fought matches.

In the semifinals, CIT faced CCJE in a tightly contested matchup that remained scoreless for most of the game. The team displayed strong defensive organization and composure under pressure, holding their ground against a persistent opponent. However, CCJE managed to capitalize on a late opportunity, handing CIT a narrow 0–1 loss.

Unbothered, CIT bounced back in the battle for third place against CAS. The game was decided in a penalty shootout, where CIT demonstrated confidence and precision. With composed finishes and crucial saves, the team secured a 2–0 victory to claim the bronze.

From a heartbreaking semifinal exit to a strong comeback performance, CIT’s journey highlighted resilience, teamwork, and the ability to rise under pressure finishing the tournament on a high note with a well-earned 3rd place.
