Do you know what's pretty cool about this cake? This is a reminder of a bittersweet moment for me, from experiencing a vehicular accident to realizing that people got my back, indeed a remarkable piece and month. Imagine the frustration I had making this because I couldn't move as I was recovering from an accident, but, interestingly, this cake was also a testament that no matter what life throws at you, you'll get past it because you are surrounded by people who are willing to help and ready to be your safety net. That's my family for me.

These genuine people will also celebrate every milestone you achieve to boost your spirit, the same how this cake captures a fleeting glimpse of celebration for reaching another year for Kaiden.

Long time no post! I've been out of the spotlight for quite a while due to my busy work schedule. But hey, I still do accept orders. 😉

Hey, Hues!

It's been a while!
Well, just letting you know that a lot has happened in the past weeks, but we had a good start with this safari-themed cake, and we're claiming that this 2022, we'll have more fun and exciting projects! 🤗❤️

Because of the unforeseen circumstance that is COVID, we celebrated our Tatay's (grandfather) 90th birthday virtually, in our respective homes.

Before the pandemic broke out, we would have meals together with everyone - from the family patriach to great grandchildren. Sometimes, Tatay would reminisce about his younger, fit days when he would go out fishing in the ocean at dawn.

I remember one time, over a meal, he would talk enthusiastically about all kinds of fish and creatures he saw and activities he did in the waters.

A recent, and probably the funniest, incident I enjoyed most was when he watched a fishing video on YouTube. Whenever he saw the fishermen catch a big fish, he would go about saying how he captured a bigger one! Also, when he saw familiar fish species, he would talk about how appetizing it is or what flavorful dish he can come up with it.

One of my favorite things to do is hearing an old story, and yes, I am smiling as I think and recall these moments. How about hue?

Days went by so fast, and just like that, it's finally the weekend!

Like these mini technicians, who else can't wait to pamper themselves after working so hard the entire week?
