The basic cadets from various courses attended the ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ง๐ training week of SCAS-ROTCU, May 2, 2026, SCAS Ground, SCAS Main Campus.
The cadets participated in a comprehensive lecture on Basic Knot Tying and Fire Prevention Awareness by personnel from Antipolo City Fire Station, led by FO3 MIGUEL R MURRILO JR, and others. The activity was conducted under the supervision of two tactical officers led by 2LT DINDO L SAN BUENAVENTURA PA (RES).
During the session, cadets were trained in essential Basic Knot Tying Techniques, including the proper use of knots for securing equipment, rescue operations, and field applications. They also received instruction on Fire Prevention Awareness, focusing on identifying fire hazards, applying safety measures, and understanding proper response procedures in case of emergencies.
The lecture concluded with a hands-on practical application, allowing the cadets to apply various knot-tying methods and demonstrate fire safety practices. This activity reinforced their knowledge and emphasized the importance of preparedness, discipline, and safety in real-life situations.
The training day concludes with the awarding of a certificate for the Antipolo City Fire Station

The basic cadets from various courses attended the ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ and ๐ญ๐ฏ๐ง๐ training week of SCAS-ROTCU, April 25, 2026, SCAS Ground, SCAS Main Campus.
The cadets participated in a comprehensive lecture on Basic First Aid and Life Support, facilitated by personnel from Leaders League Training & Adventures Inc., led by Ms. Frances Erika Magalang, EMT, and others. The activity was conducted under the supervision of two tactical officers led by 2LT DINDO L SAN BUENAVENTURA PA (RES).
During the session, cadets were trained in proper bandaging techniques, splinting, wound care management, and the accurate assessment of vital signs. They also received instruction on the correct administration of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), including its indications, limitations, and appropriate patient transfer to a safe zone.The lecture concluded with a hands-on practical application, enabling the cadets to reinforce their knowledge and reflect on the principles of Basic First Aid and Life Support.
The training day concludes with the awarding of a certificate for the personnels from Leaders League Training & Adventures Inc.

The basic cadets from various courses attended the eleventh training week of SCAS-ROTCU, April 24, 2026, SCAS Ground, SCAS Main Campus.
The SCAS ROTC cadets obtained fundamental instruction in military courtesy, proper weapon handling practices, discipline, marching and right facing to prepare them for the upcoming training week.
The ROTC Program was stated in detail, with a focused on learning about Marksmanship. Cadets undergo Marksmanship Training developing precision, discipline, and responsible firearm handling. This essential lesson strengthens focus, confidence, and readiness qualities every cadet must possess in serving with honor and excellence.
These lessons go beyond training they shape us into prepared, disciplined, and dependable future leaders. This was followed by classroom instruction skillfully delivered and led by Sgt Clyde Padlan PA (RES) with supervision of Tactical officers led by 2LT DINDO SAN BUENAVENTURA PA (RES)
Eventually, the eleventh training week ended with positive results.

The basic cadets from various courses attended the ninth training week of SCAS-ROTCU, April 10, 2026, SCAS Ground, SCAS Main Campus.
The SCAS ROTC cadets obtained fundamental instruction in military courtesy, proper weapon handling practices, discipline, marching and right facing to prepare them for the upcoming training week.
The ROTC Program was stated in detail, with a focused on learning about Mastering Jungle Base Operations and Marksmanship. Mastering Jungle Base and Marksmanship is not just about skills, itโs about survival, discipline, and responsibility. Cadets are trained to adapt to challenging environments, make strategic decisions, and handle fi****ms with precision and accountability. Jungle operations teach us resilience, teamwork, and how to stay mission-ready even in the most unpredictable conditions. Meanwhile, marksmanship develops focus, control, and respect for the power we carry.
These lessons go beyond training they shape us into prepared, disciplined, and dependable future leaders. This was followed by classroom skillfully delivered by GMA SGT ANTONIรO Q ABILAR PA (RES), SGT CLYDE MASKIL PADLA PA (RES), SGT JB GONZALES GATLABAYAN PA (RES) and supervision by 2LT DINSO SAN BUENAVENTURA PA (RES) and 2LT PERCIOUS H SUAREZ PA (RES)
The Training concluded with a discussion on Military Courtesy and Discipline skillfully delivered by SCAS NSTP/ROTC COORDINATOR, PCOL. EMMANUEL C TABUENA (Ret), RCRIM, DPA, Cadet Officers were taught the importance of Military Courtesy and Discipline.
Eventually, the tenth training week ended with positive results.

The basic cadets from various courses attended the ninth training week of SCAS-ROTCU, Friday, March 27, 2026, SCAS Ground, SCAS Main Campus.
The SCAS ROTC cadets obtained fundamental instruction in military courtesy, proper weapon handling practices, discipline, marching and right facing to prepare them for the upcoming training week.
The ROTC Program was stated in detail, with a focused on learning about Military Mountaineering and Ambuscades. In this part of the training, cadets develop proficiency in Military Mountaineering by learning essential techniques such as rope handling, knot tying, rappelling, and terrain navigation enhancing both physical capability and operational readiness. Ambuscades are studied to help cadets understand how planning, teamwork, and timing are important in tactical operations. The goal is to gain a temporary advantage by striking the enemy suddenly from a hidden position, often along routes such as roads, trails, or narrow paths where the opposing force is most vulnerable. This was followed by classroom skillfully delivered by 2LT PERCIOUS H SUAREZ PA (RES)
The Training concluded with a discussion on Basic Signal Communication skillfully delivered by 2LT DINDO SAN BUENAVENTURA PA (RES), Cadet Officers were taught the importance of Basic Signal Communication.
Eventually, the ninth training week ended with positive results.

On 22 March 2026, we mark the 129th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Army, celebrating a proud legacy of courage, service, and sacrifice that has endured for over a century. From its beginnings at the 1897 Tejeros Convention to its growth into a modern, world-class institution, the Philippine Army continues to serve as a vital pillar of national sovereignty and a protector of peace.
We honor the brave men and women in uniform, paying tribute to those who gave their lives in the line of duty and recognizing those who steadfastly continue to defend our communities with deep patriotism and dedication.
Happy Anniversary to the heroes who guard our democracy and the hands that uphold the welfare of every Filipino. Mabuhay and Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas!
