A simple go-bag can make a difference in times of disaster and calamity. As an Anscian, it is crucial to know the essentials to bring inside your go bag.

What’s In My Go Bag?

First Aid Kit 🧰
One of the most important items in our go bag. It should contain items that can efficiently treat wounds in times of disaster.

Food 🥫
At least a three-day supply of non-perishable goods and water to keep oneself energized and alert until you have reached an evacuation center or if immediate help has arrived at the nearest location.

Clothes 👕
Spare clothes for up to two to three days can be a lifesaver for regulating body temperature and maintaining hygiene under suboptimal conditions during disasters.

Techs 🔦
Devices used to aid your sight and communication with others. Remember to bring spare batteries and a power bank to ensure power on all devices.

Identifications 🪪
Comprises your School I.D., a copy of your birth certificate, medical prescriptions, or other important documents that verify your identity.

Hygiene 🧼
To prevent the spread of illness or infection, and to ensure cleanliness, health, and well-being when displaced from your home or if there is limited access to sanitation or clean water.

It is also important to note that your go bag must be lightweight and easy to carry to maintain mobility during emergencies. 🎒
