The Philippine National Police-Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) has opened a new office in Odiongan town for the Romblon Provincial Cyber Response Team to strengthen and speed up law enforcement response to cybercrime cases in the province.

🚨 MAGING MAPAGMATYAG: Mga Karaniwang Uri ng Scam
Sa panahon ng digital transactions at online communication, dumarami rin ang uri ng panloloko (scam). Alamin at iwasan ang mga ito:
🔹 Phishing Scam – Pekeng messages o links na kunwari galing sa GCash, bangko, o government agencies para kunin ang iyong OTP at personal info.
🔹 Online Shopping Scam – Murang items online, bayad muna pero walang delivery.
🔹 Investment Scam – “Double your money” o guaranteed returns (walang legit na ganito!).
🔹 Romance Scam – Online relasyon na nauuwi sa panghihingi ng pera.
🔹 Job Scam – Easy work, high pay pero may registration o processing fee muna.
🔹 Loan Scam – Approved agad ang loan pero may bayad bago ma-release.
🔹 GCash/Maya Scam – Fake customer service at pekeng proof of payment.
🔹 Budol-budol – Personal na panlilinlang para makuha ang pera o gamit.
⚠️ Tandaan:
✔️ Huwag ibigay ang OTP o password
✔️ I-verify ang source bago magbayad
✔️ Kapag minamadali ka, magduda
✔️ Kapag too good to be true, malamang SCAM

👉 The pages/groups involved pretend to offer investment, loan, or fast cash deals, but they are not real.

I’m posting this to warn others so no one else gets scammed. Always double-check before joining or sending money to anyone online!
