The Solution

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝗘𝗔 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Incoming freshmen of the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) were introduced to Angelite life and organizational involvement during the afternoon session of Spellbound: Freshman Orientation and Student Activities Festival 2026, a university-wide welcome program for new students.

Following the orientation activities at the university chapel and theater, SEA freshmen proceeded to the IH Gymnasium, where they were welcomed by student organizations from the college through creatively designed wizard-themed booths inspired by the event's Harry Potter motif.

The booths featured interactive activities, exhibits, and presentations that allowed freshmen to learn more about the organizations' advocacies, projects, and opportunities for involvement. Student leaders engaged directly with incoming students, providing information on leadership opportunities, academic support initiatives, community engagements, and co-curricular activities available within the college.

The activity served as an opportunity for SEA's newest students to become familiar with the organizations that contribute to student development beyond the classroom while building connections with fellow Angelites and student leaders.

For Academic Year 2026–2027, the School of Engineering and Architecture recorded 670 enrolled freshmen across its eight academic programs, making the orientation and student activities festival one of the first major opportunities for the college's incoming students to engage with the SEA community.

Meet the 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 behind The Solution—the official student publication of the School of Engineering and Architecture. They are the minds that guides with nourishing light and gritting strength, together these pillars will be our foundation.

Through their guidance, we build the slab of knowledge allowing the voices of our community to be spoken with echoes—𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘦, 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.

Student leaders from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) joined fellow Angelite leaders from various student organizations, college student councils, student publications, and the University Student Government during the Grand Oath Taking Ceremony for Academic Year 2026–2027 held today, June 1.

The ceremony inducted the newly elected and appointed student leaders, marking the beginning of their term and reaffirming their commitment to serve Angelite community through dedicated and responsible leadership.

The School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) released its pre-enrollment academic advising schedule today, May 22, in preparation for the upcoming enrollment period for Academic Year 2026–2027.

SEA Associate Dean Ar. Franz Allan Rodriguez confirmed the advising schedule for each program through the official group chat of SEA organization heads.

According to the announced timeline, the enrollment period is expected to run from May 29 to June 5, 2026, while the opening of classes is set on June 8, 2026.

The pre-enrollment academic advising aims to guide students in reviewing academic standing, course loads, and subject offerings prior to official enrollment.
