Promoting environmental stewardship through preparedness and compliance! 🌿

The Barangay Environmental Compliance Pre-Audit was successfully conducted on July 23, 2026, at the Municipal Auditorium, New Municipal Building, with the participation of MLGOO Cecilia R. Caburnay, MENRO Engr. Eveliza De Guzman, MENRO personnel, Barangay Secretaries, Barangay Kagawads serving as Chairpersons of the Committee on Environment, and a CSO representative.

The activity aimed to orient and prepare barangay officials for the upcoming audit by reinforcing environmental policies, compliance requirements, and best practices toward building cleaner, greener, and more sustainable communities.

On July 22, 2026, the Locally Funded Projects Team conducted a Technical Assistance session for the concerned focal persons on the SubayBayan Portal, covering FY 2023 and FY 2024 Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) Projects and Local Infrastructure Monitoring and Evaluation of 20% (LIME-20) Development Projects.

The activity aimed to enhance project monitoring, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and reinforce compliance with implementation and documentation requirements to support the efficient delivery of locally funded development projects.

The Liga ng mga Barangay of Angat convened its regular meeting on July 21, 2026, at Barangay Sto. Cristo, Angat, Bulacan, attended by the Punong Barangays under the leadership of ABC President Hon. Alexander M. Tigas.

Also in attendance were MLGOO Cecilia R. Caburnay, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Jimmy Cruz, and Nurse Roselyn Guansing, who discussed important public health updates, particularly on dengue prevention and the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA). The meeting emphasized the vital role of barangay officials in supporting health initiatives, strengthening disease prevention efforts, and promoting the well-being of every community.
