Mathematics is indeed the language of science, as eloquently highlighted on the second day of our In-Service Training. Mrs. Reyna E. Alpay, Head Teacher I and Science Coordinator, delivered an exceptional talk on higher-order thinking Skills (HOTS) and SOLO in the classroom setting. Her insightful session empowered us to elevate our teaching strategies, emphasizing the importance of fostering critical thinking among learners. The engaging HOTS workshop for each department brought out active participation, as everyone eagerly presented their creative and thoughtful outputs.

In the afternoon, Mrs. Krystel D. Angulo, Teacher III and Curriculum Head of Grade 10 captivated us with her expertise in Data-Driven Decision Making. She masterfully guided us through the intricacies of MPS and Item Analysis, transforming complex data concepts into practical tools for improving classroom instruction. Her dynamic delivery kept the session engaging and informative, leaving us inspired to harness the power of data for meaningful decision-making.

The second day exemplified the seamless integration of scientific reasoning and data analytics in education. Through insightful talks and interactive workshops, participants left inspired and equipped with skills to foster higher-order thinking and MPS and item analysis in their teaching practice.

Just as cells multiply to form life, the collective efforts of the students, teachers, and school administrators have grown into a vibrant variety of scientific discoveries at AINHS, Gymnasium on September 30, 2024.

Each exhibit proves the power of teamwork, perseverance, and resiliency. The increasing number of attendees reflects shared passion for knowledge, igniting a spark that will continue to burn brightly as we journey into new realms of inquiry.
