𝗢𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼

Orkilap is a piece inspired by the organic form of orchids and the softness of ulap (clouds). The design draws from the petal shapes of the orchid flower and translates them into a fluid, sculptural silhouette.
Crafted using pinyapel from Hibla Tech, the piece is constructed by cutting flower and concave shapes and sewing them into alternating silhouettes to mimic the form of orchid petals and drifting clouds. Finished in the Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, the tone is gently blended with the natural hue of organic piña fibers—creating a calming, airy palette that enhances the apron’s sense of lightness, sustainability, and quiet elegance.
